I’m not buying any more anything from ZOS until they fix the loading screens happening on console. I play on PC, haven’t had a long loading screen (I don’t PVP right now) so am not affected. I am just sick and tired of the console peeps getting the shaft. I know *** happens, I’ve been there. There seems to be a pattern of incompetence, resource constraints, serious design flaw, and / or non-existent continuous improvement feedback loop. I’ve seen it all in my line of work (IT, very large complex environment).

Anyway, rant over.

I sub to ESO+ so I only buy additional Crowns when on sale because they way they price things in the Crown Shop is absurd making the Crown packs too expensive as is.

Most of the stuff in the crown store sucks, and skins/mounts are often just reskinned versions of older ones. The only things that are actually useful are way overpriced (eg. banker, merchant, mount training books).

I wait for sales, otherwise only crowns I get is from ESO+, im happy with paying a sub due to all the perks it grants, especially the extra bank space and craft bag.

I'm sure I will buy more crowns at some point. But it depends on the items in the crown store, as I only buy them when there's something I want which I don't already have enough left over crowns to buy.

The fact that the price went up in the UK is going to impact that slightly. I always work out what a crown store item will cost in real money and factor than in when deciding if I want to buy it. Higher prices mean more items will cost more than I think they're worth, but I'll have to wait and see how often it puts me off buying things.

It depends.

With ESO+, I usually don't need to buy extra crowns because 1500 a month is enough. But, I did top up during the last sale by buying the 3000 pack so I could get the Coven Cottage, and once or twice I've bought extra crowns at full price when something I wanted went on a limited time sale.

Also, I agree the pricing for some stuff in the store is getting ridiculous, but I guess it's what people are willing to pay. I just find it funny...I mean, in all honesty, there can't be a corresponding cost increase for providing what are often nothing more than slightly reworked skins. That said, I do appreciate the fact that nothing purchasable by crowns is necessary to play the game, and even if I really like something but don't feel it's worth the price, I won't buy it and don't feel like I'm missing out on anything important.

I absolutely begrudge buying these damn things but sometimes a race change is required. That is the only time ill buy and even then i use my ESO+ crowns.The price of them is just outrageous and most of the time what i want are in crates which I will definitely not touch.

I have just the crowns from ESO+ and they keep piling... I don't buy much from the store... just the DLCs when they go on offer or some mounts here and there... and a hair pack when it was on offer. And that's about it...

I generally only buy during sales unless there is a specific limited item that resonates with my main (*cough* Telvanni Master Wizard *cough*). In this scenario, already having 500 crowns, I simply bought a one month sub because at least I would have costume dying as compensation.

Crown Sale = take all my extra money (so ~5x what I would normally spend on crowns)
No Crown Sale = buying the usual amount.
