I run a multitude of healing over time effects to heal:
Lingering health potions.
Forward Momentum.
Vigor.
957 health regen.
Mark target when I kill someone.
Below 50% health Troll King kicks in for additional 2250 health regen.
I can also force crit heals either by cloaking, or by triggering my 5 piece on the main bar. This increases the vigor and rally heals by 92%.
So while I don't have any burst heal (except the rather expensive ultimate Soul Siphon), I can use dodge roll or block for a short period to let my heal over time effects work.
