I'm so spoiled. I only run groupfinder on my tank and my healer, so if I'm waiting for more than a minute, I start wondering if the groupfinder is broken again.

That's why most high CP DDs queue as a tank or healer on normal and non DLC vet dungeons.

For example me and a friend queued as a healer and tank. We were queued with two "DDs" that were below 200cp. After a few bosses we calculated that we were doing 97% of all the damage, and those DDs were doing 3k damage combined together. I don't know how that's possible as spamming only light attacks does more. That's why we decided to have some fun with them. We told them that we will only tank and heal and leave the DPS for them on the last boss. 20 minutes later the boss was still at 98% :D health.

Queuing as a DD you are expected to provide to the group 20k+ DPS and a lot of people that use dungeon finder do less damage than a real tank.

Almost all of the low level players queue as DDs. Whats why high CP DDs need to queue as healers and tanks just not not wait 1 hour for a match. For real healers and tanks it is even worse, they are forced to search for players in the zones or guild chat to do pledges so that they can ensure they don't end up with those worthless parasites.

Queuing as a healer you are expected to heal. Providing support to the DPS is an added bonus.

Queuing as a tank you are expected to hold boss agro and survive a big hit. Providing buffs or bringing in the trash so they can be AoE'd is a bonus.

DPS you are expected to do damage. Not a specific amount of damage, just damage. High DPS that is a bonus.

If you are DPS then queue as DPS. You are not doing lower level players any favors by queuing in as a tank or healer then just burning through the content. What does help is you playing your role and helping them (politely) improve their game play.

That's right on. When I queue as a tank, I better be ready at that instant. My wait is usually less than 30sec.

It's a well known bug: when there are several failures to form a group in a row due to declines and then nothing, you're better off stopping your queue and starting again.

There are many other problems too. Often when I first log in and queue for a purple random daily, I get a group immediately. After that, if I queue again for another blue random it can take a long time. This happens often enough that it undermines the idea that the LFG tool is doing a simple first come first served queue. If they're giving priority to first random of the day, what other things are they doing that we don't know about?

Damage dealers are expected to provide 20k+ DPS on a Normal dungeon? Bwahahaha!

That's ridiculous. On a Normal? What? You can complete Normal WGT and ICP with considerably less than that. It'll take longer, sure, but its not necessary.

On a normal dungeon, the only thing I ask for of a damage dealer is that you do a little more damage than my tank, who does 4-6K DPS. And if you can't manage that, oh well, its a normal dungeon. I can carry you through most of them just fine even while I'm explaining how to do a proper DPS rotation.

That's not to say that having a DPS provide 20K DPS in a normal dungeon isn't nice. I appreciate getting those group members when I'm a healer or a tank as long as they don't rush ahead and leave me in the dust. But that level of DPS just isn't necessary or expected in a normal dungeon.

This, for random normals, this is 10-15 minutes as DD. Other times its 7.
If you get in front of queue you should get in within 1-2 minutes after message it failed, i would wait 4 on DD, its not so common anymore

Now one confusing thing is all refusing messages. Now I can understand some for DD as they do other stuff like quests while waiting and don't get the invite, but its just as common for tanks with no queue.
I suspect its rater an internal fail and system just recover. Given the track record I would not try to fix this.

The queue finder developer group is in the wiping multiple time on first trash in wayrest sewer competence level.
