transmutation crystals low drops

transmutation crystals coffer i don't if it me but when open the coffer purple or gold only get 1 out of purple or only 4 out of gold
is any one having the same problem

The transmutation crystals do have an RNG, but it seems heavily weighted to the low end. On my Rewards of the Worthy, I get mostly 4 crystals (the lowest option). I've gotten more than that probably 4 times out of close to 40 reward geodes

If you aren't sure that's the correct number, .from what source are you getting your geodes?

i.am getting the purple one from daily pledges sometime gold one in my PvP Reward

The daily pledges appear to only grant 1 crystal. The rewards of the worthy grant 4-25 stones.

Vet dlc pledge should drop 4-5 everytime, this 1-2 crap is a pure insult.

Any geode just called a transmutation geode always offers a set amount of crystals. If it says uncracked transmutation geode, it has some RNG where it can give you any amount between the min and max. If you hover over the geode it will tell you what this min and max is.

And yeah, it's heavily weighted to the low end.

Yeah I've often been doing vet dailies and I seem to be getting 1 transmute crystal most of the times and we did the scroll too. Right now I have like I think 25 or 28 of them.

how much you need of those crystals?
at some point you will not need them anymore.
yes in the beginning now you can use probably some more, but on the other hand, at some point you are done
and you cannot sell the changed items nor the crystals, so what you need more of them??

IF you need them to get your gear to BIS traits, then just do PVP its way faster than PVE dailies.

im sitting on 200/200 and have atleast 250 more in geodes in my inventories.

Since the green ones are a guaranteed 1 crystal, I think the purple ones should be a minimum of 2... otherwise there is no point doing the hard modes for the undaunted pledges... might just as well do normal.

I don't mind if it's more often 2 crystals in the purple than anything else, but that at least would be a little more incentive. So far it seems I average 2 crystals from the purple - purely because i've hit 5 crystals a couple of times... but more often it's just the 1 crystal in there.

I like that they are rare though. They shouldn't be any easier to acquire that's for sure. Seems PVPers get them more regularly than PVE players... I've not seen a gold one yet... not even once... but maybe that's because all I do is PVE content.

I have gotten 1 from purples, it feels not worth doing it on vet most of the times.

I PLAY mostly pvp but when do The daily pledges only get 1 every time And the pvp rewards gold one is always 4
I Konw it,s A RNG but it looks like you only get below %50 EVERY TIME!!!

And in my case always 1 out of 1/10 or 4 out of the 4/25

I know a project I want to try requires me to have 150 transmute crystals... Not really keen onto doing pvp but that is not because of skill but because I honestly don't like killing others and getting others frustrated.

PVP players get a gold geode from their first Reward of the Worthy in a 20-24 hour period, like a daily, and have a chance to get more from Rewards of the Worthy received after the first one. Rewards of the Worthy only take 20k AP to get, which is not difficult if you PVP in a competitive campaign and know how to get AP. So that's the primary reason PVP players get more gold geodes.

Its still pretty heavily weighted to the low end of the RNG spectrum.

I think I have better luck getting money than getting high amounts of the crystals... shoot I've gotten like 3 or 4 aetherial dust and still never got any crystals over 3...

Another thread about the drop rate of the trans crystals... Stop whining we got "ticket system" to change traits and it WORKS AS INTENDED, so you will have to still far ma bit instead of getting craptones of transmutations in single day.

STOP BEING LAZY! it's supposed to be used on monster sets/hard to grind sets like SPC/ Maelstorm-Asylum-Master weapons NOT on your everyday gear. If you feel like it is not enough go and join PvP 30 day cyro campaign, you don't need to be good to get the rewards... trust me I know from experience.

Relax? Its in the Bug Report forum, the OP was trying to make sure this wasn't a glitch or a problem with his rewards. As it turns out, its not a problem with the rewards, its just that RNG is not in his favor.

Thanks for the insights. I’ve got as much as 3 from the random daily or maybe it was a pledge, don’t remember. The gold rewards for the worthy I was excited because it was gold. It gave me 4 stones. Not very good. The weekly coffer from Trials give me 5 stones....normal or vet. Doesn’t seem to matter?

Yep. They replaced one RNG grind with another RNG grind. Its just that this RNG grind is slightly more forgiving that running VMA hundreds of times for that sharpened lightning staff or whatever BIS trait you need on your weapons.

ZOS wants you to play the game. This extra RNG means you have to play the game, just in a slightly difference way than before where you had to run the exact same content over and over again ad nauseum.
