Ping 999+, tracert fails, logs out

Smth wrong is going on with your service.
Lags happen but now it's the worst.
I have latency 999+ and tracert lose the package at least once.

Check your server plz

I have the same exact problem.
Cyrodiil pvping and then 999+ ping -> everyone stops moving -> skills, block, roll dodge dont work -> desconnected.
It all started in CWC, never had that before.

I think I'd collect all type of errors today.
Character already logged.
And booted from server.
Login failed. Ok, what's next?

ZOS, do you have lags scheduled?
It has just started again.

Same. Tried to PvP a couple of times but i keep getting disconnected when i get near a fight.

Also completely unable to enter Cyrodiil, but just started happening after the Wrothgar Anniversary event.

I have the same, except for the 999+ ping.
Everyone stops moving for X minutes, disconnected. Try to login again with credentials, and the game thinks I'm still logged on...

There is some other post with more or less, simillar probs. I mean, not exactly but the end is the same, ZOS have a network prob (not necessairly a serv since not everyone is impacted) and dont want accept that..
So probably won't ever do something. (i already ticket them with a LOT of info, and just got disrespect and *** for answer)

Its because of Akamait Tech a new ddos protection implemented by ZOS recently, if you run a trace route instead of path ping you'll see all your hops disappear after it hits Akamait Tech. Try and trace route and see if that happens, I assume you're playing from overseas? Below is the trace I ran as you can see it hit Akamait and then its all blocked.

Oh, thank you very much for your insight.
I have better tracert, haven't seen more than 3 missed lines yet ping jumps really high in the end.
