Quarter staff, halberds & spears should be in the same category, just call it polearms. Also add magic/elemental dw weapons for players that want more of a spellsword/melee magic toon. The downside to adding new types of weapons is a reduced chance of getting the weapon types that you want (a longer gear grind).

Yeah, I'm definitely interested in seeing a weapon skill tree revolving around 1H/Spell combo.

I think with the introduction of the warden class and their visually in depth sklls/animations that a spellsword skill tree is very much do-able and warranted.

reason why I didn't add actual guns and flamethrowers...tough with whats going on in CwC I no longer think even Artillery Guns instead of trebuchet and Cannons instead of Balista in Cyrodill could be an actual thing...

When I started playing ESO 4 years ago...I wanted my kitty stamblade to be a bare clawed assassin... my dreams were ruined.
