In the image below, one is Night Mother's Embrace set and the other is Night Mother's Gaze set.

    Night Mother's Gaze -> Gaze of the Night Mother. Simple.
    Difficulty scaling is desperately needed. 9 years. 6 paid expansions. 25 DLCs. 41 game changing updates including A Realm Reborn-tier overhaul of the game including a permanent CP160 gear cap and ridiculous power creep thereafter. I'm sick and tired of hearing about Cadwell Silver&Gold as a "you think you do but you don't"-tier deflection to any criticism regarding the lack of overland difficulty in the game.

    No, but really, those Night Mother sets confuse the hell out of me for their similarity. It's not like we're lacking in lore-appropriate content to inspire set names here.

    You could even leave the Names of the sets themselves, but show (Boots of the...) Mother's Embrace / Mother's Gaze in a list overview as in the OP.

    7th Legion has a similar problem in that some pieces are called e.g. Boots of the 7th Legion, but are not part of the set. Grrrr.
    I found that out after improving and enchanting them (the Boots) and still only had 3/5 pieces.

    It's confusing as hell.

    No, it's been noted elsewhere that there are some drops which are 7th legion in name, but not part of the set - usually from medium
    level bosses and pipped creatures e.g. Gargoyles. So you get 7th legion Boots and Boots of the 7th legion. One is the set, the other is not.

    It's REALLY annoying when you're using like... Tamriel Trade to try and find a piece of one set or the other... you get to the merchant... and it's the opposite set. D:
