Getting a second ps4 for the house

So this is part question part kudos to Zos, & Bethesda.
I've been playing eso for a while, first on my PC when it first came out then switched to the ps4 simply to be able to play in the early mornings without waking my husband. Well now he wants to play. So this would involve getting a second ps4 for the house so we can play together. (and probably annoying the kids that we take up the ps4... Lol) anyway.
Will having a second ps4 in the next room, down a short hallway, cause issues with controlers? And when he takes it with him to travel (one state away) will there be any issues with it? ( I've never traveled with a ps4 so pardon my nievety)

And the kudos: thank you for making such an amazing game. It took me away from Wow and at first I had a hard time deciding which to play. But I love being able to do all the crafting. I love the helpfulness of most players I meet. I love the stories and quests, the lore, the wide and varied terrain and scenery.
Don't get me wrong, I love Wow, will always be a home away from home. But lately it seems a chore to play.

    I have 4 PS4 in the house... and no controller issues. You just put the lead in and press the ps button to tune into which one you want. It stays that way untill you tune it into a different one.

    Hi OP,

    I have 2 PS4's with ESO on it. Same person (me) using the PS4. One is in another state, one is at my house. I have traveled out of state with my PS4 before, a couple of things;

    IF you're in the United States, AND he takes an airline, make sure to take the PS4/controller out of it's container to let it be scanned in the AirPort Security terminals X-Ray machines. I've kept mine in its casing, only to have TSA pull me aside so they can 'powder it' for explosives. While I was OK with them looking at it, I was certainly frustrated they had to poke and prod my completely safe PS4 for any signs of threats. Better safe then sorry!

    When I did take my PS4 on the plane, I always make sure it had cushioning if the plane ran into bumps. Never had a problem with it traveling.

    At home, my boyfriend has a PS4 and I have one in separate rooms. Once the controller assigns itself to a PS4 using a USB cable, it'll stick to the machine. I've had times where I turned his PS4 on because I picked up his controller by mistake. So the signals aren't anything to worry about.
