ESO Plus screw up.

NOTE: This issue has been brought up with support and I am currently waiting for a reply. Though I have been for about 8 hours at this point.

I only bring this up because I am wondering if this has happened to anyone before. This is the second time I had a financial issue in the game.
So I wanted to pay for subscription. I tired to pay with my card. Entered in my info, transaction was not loading, so I re-loaded the page and tried again. This time it told me there was a billing address issue. So I check my bank account to see if my billing address is different and it says that I just payed for subscription to ESO twice.
That is $30 total that did nothing to my ESO account. Even though there was a billing issue, money still left my bank account and yet I have No active subscription.

Has this, or anything similar, ever happened with anyone here?

    Getting double-charged is usually a serious enough issue that, as long as you reasonably follow up (which it appears you are), should get resolved.

    That said, you really should have started the thread in the ESO+/Crown Store or General Help subforums ... and not General Discussion.

    What platform are you on? If you are on Xbox, I can almost guarantee they are going to tell you to call Xbox support. I've had my ESO plus go out on me mid-sub twice and both times I had to have Xbox resolve it.

    There is your double billing. Never, ever, ever reload a payment transaction page, any payment transaction page anywhere.
    There's even warnings on these types of pages about that.

    Yes thats true. one of my friend also had the same problem. and he just simply refershed teh site. the he had to face the same issues as well, he made contact with the support, luckily hes issues were quckly solved, thanx to the support. It is sunday now right? i dont know is there are any available support team member in this day in ESO team.

    Is there even a phone number to make contact with the coustumer support?
    if not thats a crap thing because every mmo have a coustumer sopport phone line serivices just in thies cases.

    Don't EVER refresh a page when you're trying to pay something. Not just in ESO but everywhere else.

    No one at support works on Sundays , and as you said it's been 8 hours or so - that's just mean it a late afternoon Sunday into the night if going on EST . This is why you are not receiving any response yet. Maybe have a little bit of patience?

    Everyone is saying Sunday. Do you mean the weekend? Because I sent this problem around 2:45 PM on Saturday

    Yes Lesson learned, Don't re-load. I actually let it sit for a good five minutes before deciding to load the page. Because the site just stopped. It did not load anything, it just stopped.
    I could have simply exited the page but I already clicked confirm on my info so I do not see how that would have produced different results.

    @Iccotak some banks dont perform transactions on sundays, so check your onlinebanking and maybe you can cancel the transaction before its completed.

    Else there's just the way via billing support

    I would not recommend trying to cancel the charge via the bank. If ZOS gets notice of a charge back they will lock the account for potential fraud. It is best to resolve with ZOS. It will likely get resolved on Monday if not sooner.
