The Heart of a Telvanni quest again (glitch happened only when in the group)

I was doing this quest with my friend and we both chose to kill the guards. We entered the mine, killed the first guards, then he went and freed the slaves. We got "kill the general" objective left, but once we killed him, we couldn't progress. Eoki and Sun-in-Shadow just stayed there near the Work area door. Something just didn't trigger this quest to go forward. We tried moving in and out, but nothing.
Eventually he gave up and logged off inside the mine. As soon as he did, the timer began to tick, like in the group dungeon. That was strange, but then again I mostly soloed, I never had the group leader log off in the middle of the quest. Is that normal, to have the clock tick because the "leader" logged off? I never thought there was any "leader" in the pve questing content though.
Anyway, that was a good thing. As soon as the timer went out, i was pulled out of the mine. When I entered it, I had opportunity to do it all over again. But this time, I actually saw all the mission objectives bold on my screen. "Kill the front guards", "free the slaves 0/2". I didn't see that when we were together! Possibly because he had the "lead". I did see "kill the general" in the right upper corner, but all bold "completed" objectives were missing from my screen. I have normally completed the quest.
Here's what I think why this glitch happened:
- We were in the group and possibly, he took the mission objectives, while I didn't.
- He was too fast for a quest to trigger (highly likely). The way I remember and I could be wrong though, we killed the general before Eoki spoke about the atrocities of the Telvanni. Or just in the middle of them speaking.
When I entered the mine alone I did the quest nice and slowly, like I normally do and it was all good. Rushing and/or being in a group can make it glitch.

Glimmer50✭✭My husband and I are having this same issue and we can't finish this quest. We are stuck in the part where you kill the captain. We finally killed him but can't get through the next door. We are now logged out and hoping it will reset. I hope this quest is fixed soon.0
