Can't access Morrowind

I just bought the Morrowind upgrade via Steam, I also have the base game on Steam by the way. When I check my library it says the Morrowind DLC is already there, but it shows as not installed and when I try to travel to Morrowind in game it tells me to upgrade. How do I fix this?

Have you checked your Steam Downloads to see if you need to install it? Sorry, its been long enough that I don't remember if there was an extra step I needed to do after buying it.

I thought it was supposed to be already downloaded. Even if you have only the base game you have to download it all before you're able to play. You just won't have access to the expansions before buying them. And no, it doesn't show me any option to download the dlc, it simply says it's not installed even though it's listed in my library.

On mine, I have the Morrowind DLC in the DLC section on the ESO page on STEAM. There's a little check box next to it that if I uncheck, it shows "Not Installed". If you have a box there, does checking it do anything?

OK, going out on a limb here, but did you somehow install Morrowind as a second install? And not as an upgrade to your existing account? Poke around in the section of Steam where are the installed apps are and see what you have in there.

The box is checked, and it now says it's installed. I'm not sure what was going on, but it seems to be fixed now. Thank you for the replies.
