Asylum staves Bug!

Greetings i did some test and the proc from the new destruction staves didnt work if i was casting force pulse at a greater distance than 9-10 meters. It procced always under 9 meters but above 10 meters it didnt proc even once.

    I can confirm this for the perfected asylum weapons, @tolunay and me tested it together and it has a maximum range of about 10 meters. Please fix it, we worked hard to get them and we want to use the weapons correctly!

    If you satnd within less than 10 meter range, the status effects will apply and the animation of concentrated force will show.

    If not, only the animation will show, but the status effects will NOT apply.

    Just had two more people testing it here. Again, no status effects at range. Asylum Destruction staffs require you to be within 10m range to actually do something.

    Hmm.... I’ve yet to test my Asylum staff out much but from my vAS run, questing, and target dummy parse it was noticable that the animation for Concentrated Force did not always play. In fact it played less times than it did and I’m referring to the third cast (where the beams split) not the regular two casts of the Asylum staff.

    This occurred with both a gold-quality lightning Staff Precise and a blue-quality Ice Staff Infused.

    it appears the range on this is actually 17 meters. Put clench on your bar. If clench is lit up, it will proc, if clench grays out, it wont proc.

    Clench is 17meters
    Blockade is 18 meters
    Force Shock is 28 meters

    I´ve read about a similar bug regarding the master resto staff as well, where the stamina return only work if you´re close to the caster

    Correct. The master staff stam return is based on proximity to the healer casting the springs, not the actual location of the springs

    I can confirm this as well, ZOS are we going to get a fix for this, it's an easy issue to just increase the range value.

    I can confirm as well that the perfected lightning staff is also bugged. In addition the second cast does not fire with a morphed animation all the time even on closer range when the status effects are applying.

    I think that is part of the animation. The three beams of the concentrated force pulse are randomly spread around the target you aim at. So if they are close together you will not you will not see a difference. @ZOS_GinaBruno, please tell the team to fix this...

    It seems that the farther you are from the target, the less consistent Concentrated Force goes off. Between 20m-28m it gets especially bad and often won't work, and becoming highly uncommon to proc near 28m. The special animation fails to play almost every time which is annoying too..... and when it does play you are not guaranteed to actually proc the status effects as intended.

    Fix Asylum Staves plz!
