Can you please fix the ep version and the ad version in cyrodiil at the scroll temples? Both are phased into the podiums that they are supposed to sit on

It depends. Try again (different phase, different day, different campaign...). Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Keep trying.

Maybe. I don't know how it works technically. All I know is that sometimes these books are bugged and when you leave and come back sometimes they work. That's all I can say, don't ask me to explain how & why, because I don't know.

In Shor, the EP one is not even visible on the podium. It fell into it or something...

Sorry for the necro, but for those that are searching. The books are there but the trick to getting them is to go to where they are, see that they are not there, run away from them(like you do when you dont see a player in an instance) then go back. This worked for me on 4 ocassions where i could see the glow of the book but not the book itself

I can confirm that logging out to the character select screen and then back in near a book that is not where it should be - can/does work.

Thanks to my guildies who kept the temple empty of enemies while I relogged!

Thank you for the advice of logging out and logging in. It worked for the AD Plea for the Elder Scrolls, and it worked for the Experimental Journal in the Vile Manse (Reapers March public dungeon).

And years later that same note still has that same issue.
I would just like to add that relogging didn't work for me (possibly it still might for other people) despite doing it three or four times.
Running away did work, but only after running away at least eight times, i lost count and almost gave up but then i saw an EP player doing the same thing presumably going after the note and that time it DID finally appear.
So my advice for any Eidetic Memorians would be to keep trying and hope that eventually it will work (although eventually can be a very long time).
And to the devs - it would be nice to see this finally fixed.

I opened a ticket for bugged Lore Books in Cyrodiil years ago. They responded by telling me that can’t restore items I destroyed... still haven’t fixed the books.

Luckily, apart from this one note I haven't had any bug issues.
But then maybe that was because i used to compulsively check and read every note i got from a quest.
In all fairness, some bugged books do get fixed... eventually.

Same here...i try to log off then when i start back login, the book appears with golden shine

Pact is *still* broken as well. Logged out a couple times with no luck.

Nice that there are tricks, but you shouldn't have to log and relog to MAYBE get the book.

It has been broken for years, I have a hard time believing it would be that hard to fix that.

And for that matter, all the texts hidden in enemy main bases. Make them available for all to read (though not necessarily easy to reach).

Some of us are near OCD about books.

You can read all the books behind each faction gate except for the new one the Dauntless Bananas book which seems to be an AD exclusive, if they put it any where else I never found it.

I ran away about 10 times today, 3 relogs, 4 reload uis, sometimes comboing them. Nothing works. The gate already closed behind me, and I'm still here trying to get the book. The other books on the pedestal are fine, I already have them but can be interacted. This one? Still glowing under the pedestal. Driving me crazy.

Report: These scrolls are STILL bugged.They seem to drop through the pillars to the floor - there is an angle at which the EP one is readable but not visible, but the AD one is neither.
