I really want to say how good of a job was done with this mount. I think when it comes to horses, this is where ZOS should be putting their artistic efforts. Using the cultures and organizations of this setting to influence the look and feel of these mounts. I dont think we will ever get an updated look to the original horses, which is a shame. But moving forward Id like to see more horses like this.

I liked it... I'd buy it if it were 2k crowns but 2.5k seems a tad much, I'm picky. Still overall very good

I am actually really disappointed with this mount. The preview image is so different from the actual mount. The head piece on the actual mount is purple and doesn't match the surrounding pieces. There are no spikes on it either like the preview image. Why make the preview image different from the actual mount?? This is very misleading. I was super excited about this mount, now I just feel let down.

edit: I am now riding this mount and it looks AMAZING with my dire pony

I agree with CursedElephant! Me and my RP guild were all going to buy this mount to go adventure and do quests together but we all have been very very disappointed when we saw how it actually looks... thank you ZOS for ruining another RP event for my guild

All I wanted is to go around VVardenfell doing quests on my new Witch Knight Charger... but now I don’t even want to...

@EiadShami @CursedElephant Go into your settings and turn off the Hide Helmet option. The horse DOES have the helmet but if you have the hide helmet option on for the horse. It will show the leather option.

The preview is showing the default horse, but on the picture is the upgraded version. If u have trainer speed,stamina, inventory the horse gear will change. It will have the metal piece with spikes, it will have a black-brown bag on the back (not huge like the normal horses), and it will have brown wraps on the legs.

Looks cool but Idk if I can justify putting up my wolf mount... I wish the wolf pets were bigger then I would totally ride the horse if my wolf looked more like a Dire wolf and was about 2x the current size.

I love this mount! , looks AWESOME with all my Nords too!

Looks equally good with Nord male and female chars, put a wolf pet down with it and your traveling in perfect Nordic style.

I thought they did a great job on the armor, and the drinking horns was a very nice touch too, WELL DONE ZOS, WELL DONE.

Definitely a cut above the usual ESO horse, but the conformation especially of the hindquarters and hind legs is still all wrong. Maybe @ZO$ should look at basic equine design rather than sticking to the same template every time.

However, nice in other ways, and I actually bought one for a change.

I was hoping the mouth would be shut, horses don't go around with their mouths open and it looks really odd to me that they do in this game (among other things that are a bit off about the way horses are designed)

Still, good to see they've designed some nicer looking upgrades for them!

I agree OP.
Got the horse even if I'm not a fan of furry gear and silver plates, because it's very well done. I would gladly get rid of the lateral horns (too nordic/barbaric touch for my taste) but overall it's a very nice horse from the fur color shades to the well-finished armor details.
Hope to see more like that, with refined details on armor and subtle fur shades, nice job zos on this one.

And also this, I totally agree.
If they could put in the Store some nice armor for them, it would be awesome. It wouldn't come cheap but it would be totally worthy if detailed like this one, to dress up the old horses (many of us are using them anyways).

ZOS please consider horses armor, this is not Oblivion (moddable game) so horse armor in this case are very welcome and it's not a shame to sell them as downloadable content!

The horse looks great, except the teeth are missing. If they're going to insist on giving the horses those terrible open mouths, at least remember to give them teeth! Argh. Otherwise, the horse looks amazing.

Girlfriend sent me a text before I logged on about this horse. Before I could login, she bought it; didn’t think she would ever buy another mount. Saw her horse and had to get one too for my Nord.

I would rather see this as a mount costume or new upgrade look. Instead ZOS chose to sell it as a separate horse for 2,5k crowns.

It's a good looking horse, but I'm not a fan of all the heavy saddling. I really wanted the Dire Pony as a horse, with just regular saddle. I don't usually have the upgrades showing on my mounts.

Hopefully they continue with this sort of cutlurally inspired mounts thing. Id love to see a Altmer horse with all the bells and whistles. Or an Imperial Knights Charger.

Very nice mount, well done to ZOS. I'm wearing the Dragon Warrior armour on my Nord, they do compliment.

Just want to point out that when you click on "hide stamina upgrade" in options, it does hide a piece of the Witch Knight Charger's head armor, so you can change the look a little bit. I love that.
