So...what happens if you have CWC house, but does not own the dlc (sub expired)?

The only CWC house is crown exclusive, which upsets me a bit, but hey, you can't blame ZOS being ZOS

However the house in CWC does prove that DLC housing was possible.......is just ZOS didn't do it for previous dlcs.
Which I don't understand. all dlc zones (except IC of course) have potential to have good houses, even some crown exclusive ones, while they just not doing it

Back to topic. I wonder what happens when you brought the house, but then sub expired and you no longer have access to CWC?
Do you:
1. Cannot even travel to your house (Which will be sucks)
2. Cannot leave the house without teleporting (Which also kinda sucks)
3. Teleport you out like dungeons do once you enter CWC area (sounds reasonable, but technically probably the hardest one and I can think of many ways of potential exploit)

So have anyone test it out yet?

Edit, Addition: I actually think that it's a good way if you purchased crown houses, you get the dlc for free considering those manor houses are FREAKING EXPENSIVE. (Houses below manor shouldn't be crown exclusive, so if you get a crown manor you get the dlc actually sounds not bad, considering house pricing is ridiculous and dlc pricing is quite reasonable)

You can interact with, and travel to, any house in the game as long as you own it.

You don't need to own or have access to the DLC.

If you don't have the DLC and you leave the house via the door, the game will drop you in the last place you were at.

Edit: Would also like to note that ZOS is doubling-down on DLC housing. Wrothgar will be getting a rather nice one soon. I think you can even tour the house in-game now.

^^ Phage has the correct answers.

And there's also a home in another DLC zone... The castle home in the Gold Coast.

Homes in dlc zones aren't new.

And if you own a home, you can always travel to it. But, if you try walking out the front door though, you will be zoned back to your last known vanilla zone location.
