Should dungeons be more rewarding?

Group dungeons, including trials, don't seem to have a lot to offer. They're fun, but when you've been playing as long as some of us and you have all the best gear for multiple characters, what else do dungeons offer? Would you like to see more from dungeons, like unique crafting materials, rare motifs, even mounts, etc?

    Dungeons already offer:

    3 different gear sets, per dungeon
    Gold, Looted objects, and weapons from monsters and NPCs
    Motifs, skins etc, at least for certain DLC dungeons
    Crafting materials, like poison solvents, reagents, style items (daedra hearts, especially)
    Transmutation Stones
    3 daily quests for the undaunted
    Monster sets with powerful 2-piece bonuses

    In terms of less tangible but no less important rewards, dungeons offer:
    Content to run with friends or random players
    Specialized content where players can excel at their chosen role of tank, healer, or DPS

    With all that in mind, what exactly do you want added to dungeons to make them "worthwhile" for you? If you don't like doing dungeons for the content, the challenge, or the already existing rewards, then I think you'd be better off finding something to do in game that you do enjoy doing for the content, the challenge, or the already existing rewards. What's the point of playing a game if you aren't having fun?

    I specifically said it is fun,so I have no problem with that. As for gear sets what use are they if you already have them, and the transmute crystals are nice but won't be relevant for long once you get what you need. We don't all play 16 characters, some of us only like playing 1-2.

    I think the DLC dungeons are great, but the base game dungeons could use a little love.

    And the HM scroll mechanic needs to addressed. Adding HM in the form of increased health / damage was a great, easy "fix" for one tamrial, but if the resources could be spared I'd love to see some additional mechanics be slowly introduced (or dumped in all at once) like they did with world bosses.

    Either spawn some extra adds or add a mechanic, or some ground targeted AOE's to avoid. It dosn't really matter, just add something that distinguishes hard mode as a thing other than "boss got stronger"

    then bonus points for adding motif page drops for each dungeon, unique furnishing drops, whatever. I reckon half the sets dropped in dungeons could be improved to be a potential build, instead of just being, well, bad. Like toothrow and treasure hunter. They look ok at a glance, but when you think about it, they are terrible. Just pointless, terrible sets that no one should ever use.

    Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni - Dunmer Sorceress who deliberately sought sacrifice into Cold Harbor to rescue her beloved.
    Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
    Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
    Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.

    I make plenty off running group content. 4 man drops plenty that can be vendored and I make up to a few hundred k gold from that and running vet trials each week.

    Besides, as @newtinmpls eluded to, playing should be fun. If it is not, maybe you are running with the wrong group of people or possibly in the wrong game.

    Gold, crafting mats, recipes, motifs...Not everything in about gear.

    I want gold jewelry to at least have a chance to drop from completing Vet HM dungeons. We can farm these for days and only occasionally get a purple to drop but the gold versions are available for purchase at the golden vendor???? That makes zero sense.

    I'd love to see dungeon leader boards.

    It would revitalize dungeon running. I personally enjoy doing dungeons more than trials since they're easier to set up (only need 4 people vs. 12) and you're more self-reliant.

    Learning new trials is expensive. Pots, soul gems, repair costs and now stam builds use poison and there is nothing to reward that.
    DLC dungeons have NOTHING to offer as most BiS gear is farmed in normal trials or normal dungeons.
    Those dungeons also are not worth to run as pledge, it takes too long to do and many players struggle even with WGT and ICP.

    Make jewelry drop only in veteran mode and make it bound on equip. It will allow those that run and learn trials to get profit from it and it should not hurt "casual" players in getting gear.(Tho many are pugging vAA, so).

    And by the Nine Divine's re-visit vDSA and vMA weapons... Most of it is useless. Remember that this is endgame content for "skilled players".

    For every fake tank, fake healer, and light attacking bow user I carry, I believe the game should automatically make those players kowtow to me after victory.

    All the dailies, quests and dungeons should have better rewards. It would seem that the main ways to get gold in this game is to farm either specific sets or materials. And that's very boring.

    The only thing I'd like to see I guess is a chance for more than 2 drops. Just like in WoW some bosses would drop an extra piece, or some even had extremely rare items drop sometimes. Otherwise it's fine how it is. Each person is getting something.

    If they were set up in two ways yes

    1. For quests which would allow the same setup but slightly easier or what some say “solo-able” like a Delve.
    2. Group based and challenging like a trial (harder than the current normal). Harder should not be interpreted as more health or more damage, I mean AI improvements

    You can get Transmutation Geode drop(purple) from the last boss even on normal. Happened once with me in a week on 7 chars. :D
