AMD FX-8350 & Sapphire RX560 2GB OC performance?

Hi,

I am currently in the process of building a PC. How does the FX-8350 & RX560 sapphire pulse 2GB perform in Elder scrolls online? I will be running a system with 16GB of RAM.

I have read a lot about the 8350 performing poorly in ESO, but according to game debate, the specs will be plenty above recommended requirements. I have also been reading that ESO is terrible on CPUs that rely on multicore delegation & work best on CPUs that have good single core performance. Is this still true?

    It is absolutely still true.

Though when I played on my 8350 it worked fine, but that was a while ago.

The CPU bottleneck is still very much in place. I'd try it,I'd see if it works before you spend anymore money on the game.

According to PC CPU benchmark charts, my friend who has a 8350 should perform better on a CPU basis in ESO than my i5, and he has a rx480 and I have a rx370. However, my rig can handle ESO much better because it has that higher single core speed. Also, his runs hotter but he also has a stock and cooler though that's an AMD thing... If you're building a PC I recommend going with a Intel chipset, there's plenty that should be within your budget instead of a 8350.

    My opinion at least

    Stay away from fx series.
Its horribly outdated and a waste of money.
Not only in ESO, fx series perform like garbage in so many games where single core performance is important.
If you want something from AMD, go with ryzen series instead.

While I'll agree that the Ryzen series is the better single core CPU, the FX series isn't garbage.

I run an FX-8350 OC'd to 4.7 GHz and get about 100 FPS in the wilds, 60 in big cities, all ultra settings.

    I don't run a RX560 though, I have an RX480 8GB.

I'm currently running a FX8320 and ESO runs smooth like butter. It really depends on the complete system. If you got a lot of stuff running in the background eating your core, then ESO will run alot less smooth.
