With all the bugs in the game ZoS fixed RoM tree shortcut. Do you agree it was critical?

I can imagine ZoS developer looking at list of thousands of bugs choosing what he is going to do today and goes like:
- "lightning staff medium attack glitches, naaaah this one is not for today"
- "doors in wayrest sewers bug, who uses them anywayz? lol.. "
- "players can't join guilds with 4/5 slots. Well, they can join 4, why 5? lets call it a nerf ahahaha"
- "Mazzatun tree shortcut. w00t! This one is good. Got to fix it now. Lets put invisible block here on the trunk. Good. Will drop a report to my boss, fixed bugs today. Damn good job. I feel good now. Time to go home. "

Yes. It was critical. About time they had to fix it! Was one that ruined the fun for me.

No, could have focused on something more viable to fix.

I was quite surprised that they patched it, when I went there first time after update.
I don't think it was even mentioned in patch notes.

But well, I will find another shortcut then :D

They could always focus on something more serious, but the fact remains, easy, simple fixes are fast fixes.

You can already skip most of the dungeon. Fighting that room isn't a big deal. I didn't skip the room on my speed run.

That was the problem with it. In a pug there was no chance the whole group would be able to do the jump.

But when everyone could do it, it saved a huge amount of time. I didn't want to see it go.

If you're sure all 4 can do it then yes it saved a lot of time...but if even one gets stuck ...then invariably they'll keep trying to do it... aggros the mobs then have to kill the mobs anyway...so in the long run just more efficient to do the round from the start...

Actually yes I am glad they fixed this, super annoying when I joined a random dungeon of people who lost their healer, they were way ahead but as I started to work my way towards them, enemies I could not get by because of the damn root doorway was not open.... because no one killed the mobs and instead used the tree. Turns out the group sucked too bad to even finish the dungeon

Mobs help weed out weak groups, plus it's annoying to find out they did some exploit skip and the door remains shut for any people joining later.
    Hoping for more playable races

    No it's not.

If everyone could do the jump, it was waayy more efficient do do the jump.

In a pug the group could never do it so you didn't have any choice in fighting the ads. It depended on who you were running with.

If you sneaked, the mobs would literally never agro. Well unless you jumped right in their face or something. Seriously, we've spent a good (and hilarious) 10 minutes there once teaching someone how to jump - mobs spawned alright but never touched us.

Not like that matters anymore I guess. ZOS priorities, mmm.
