He is saying that they will dodgeroll for no reason.

But he’s a saltlord so although he’s right that this will detect players who use miat’s, this will neither “expose” them or label them as exploiters because it isn’t an exploit. I point blank asked ZOS at twitch con and they said it’s built into the game and that it’s a perfectly legitimate addon at the moment, but that they might change that status in the future.

The block will cancel the snipe but they will still get the notification from the AddOn and dodge roll around Cyrodiil like puppies on speed ...

They did did they . Well they should know some players "Might" return in the future . An that statement goes against what @ZOS_GinaBruno posted in the forums .

I solute miat for tampering with the snipe dysinc'ing spamming trash. Let's be honest, if it was snipe there would not be many problems... but most of these ganking scum use lethal arrow which is 100% worse and they dysinc it too. Also do not tell me to roll dodge when most of the time you can't even hear it until you already got hit and that's when you start roll dodging. Sometimes i am fighting somebody and my character all the sudden just losses all it's resources which means i am dead already and i didn't even know i was getting hit until my recap shows i got hit by THREE LETHAL ARROWS. Snipe and it's morphs have been known to be bugged for a looooooooong time and what does zos do? oh they make it the first thing you unlock for the bow skill line.

I don't think those two statements are at odds with each other. In fact, they kind of say the same thing. I will paraphrase:

ZOS knows it exists, it is allowed currently because the API allows it, and we are figuring out how to fix it.

More than likely the API Triggers that Miat uses serve other beneficial purposes in the game so they are trying to fix it without breaking other neutral mods or game functions.

so glad I'm on console. from what I know about miats is that it counters entire builds, especially gank builds. if I was a PC player I probably would of quit a long time ago because of this add on. From my perspective, its cheating and those who defend it need it as a crutch. the problem I see is now that its been allowed in the game for so long removing it may cause you to lose more players than zos would gain by removing it. It should have been removed instantly IMO. Console players are proof this add on isn't necessary by any means.

When was Twichcon and when was the statement made by the CM and who was this person at twitch con and how much did they really know about what was going on? He could have been an Intern for all we know who hears things as brings coffee and donuts to the developers.

I would also take the CM's published comments with more weight than a second hand hearsay from a forum poster as to nuances of language, syntax and word choice with regards to parsing the meaning.

In other words, only one of these statements could be taken to court. I think you know which one.

I agree with you Nestor . I would just like clarity on the source as Gina's wording brought some relief that the issue was being actively handled while the second unknown source is less decisive and could even elude to the possibility nothing could come of it . For those of us in this year long "debate" lol , it would be frustrating to see the issue to remain unanswered for any longer . To simply say Yes we are fixing or No , we won't do anymore , would at least provide closure . I'm one of those strange people that enjoys closure whether I agree with it or not .
