Build me a build

Hello,

I made an account for the forum because I suck at games. Yes, all of them. No matter how hard I try or how long I play them.

So I need help building my character in order to maybe not suck at trials and veteran dungeons as hard.
I'm a Dark Elf sorcerer at Level 442. (https://imgur.com/a/avP58 Link because I can't get the image function to work.)

In my group I am the healer, but I heal through the Twilight Matriarch and the Unstable Clannfear, because I carry a Lightning Destruction Staff.

Right now I wear the Netch's Touch and Treasure Hunter sets, but I'm willing to get and upgrade other sets.
(But I don't do PVP and I suck too hard for trials, so the sets should preferrably be buyable, but if you do think a non-buyable set would be best, feel free to mention it, I might eventually suck less and get them. Also I may have a guild some day with which to go into trials, currently I don't.)

Should I switch to a Restoration Staff? I probably have enough skill points to do both.
Which skills should I use?
Where should I put my Champion Points?
Just generally how do I become as strong as other people of my champion level?

In my signature there are links to AlcastHQ and Tameriel Foundry both of which have end game PvE builds and guides on them.

Check them out as well as any videos by MissBizz about newbie tips.

Hm, I've looked at the sites but there doesn't seem to be a sorcerer DDHealer build. Probably because it's a bad idea, but that's where I'm at. My twink is a healer and I hate playing her because she just doesn't pack damage for the solo stuff I do.
My healer would be very easy to salvage, I could just put a melee weaponin her secondary slow, but my sorcerer I have no idea how to halfway fix her. And the links you provided didn't help me with that either.
But maybe I can rust repost this thread in those forums, I'll see.

If you're trying to focus on healing then you're going to want to ignore damage output for the most part.

Restoration staff, healing skills from sorc and sets which help your healing or have your healing buff others. The harder the content gets in ESO the more you need to go back to the old Tank/Heal/2xDD set up with each person specialising in a role.

You want to be a healer on a sorc?

@Tasear is who you want to hear from.

if you are playing sorc its probably best to go for a damage role. one advantage you have is that as a dark elf you have the option to go for a magika OR stamina build. play both and see what you like more. Granted, dunmer isn't the best racial choice for stam or mag sorc but you have flexibility.

If you want to play a healer, your probably gonna want to rerole a mag Templar.
