Crafting Writs are better!

I know it's a small thing for a lot of people, but THANK YOU ZOS for making it possible to drop off my crafted items at the closest drop site instead of having to go several different places. It makes things SO much easier for me. I try to keep my crafting levelled to where I am in the game, but it doesn't always work out that way. Before, something would always need dropped at a place I hadn't been to yet, so the items were either taking up space in my inventory/bank or I was going further ahead than I was ready to be. Also, the icons telling me whether the item can be researched, are ornate or intricate also makes deconning go faster, so thank you for that too!!!

On another note though.....on your news page where you show that Clockwork City is now live, you have a picture of people with hairstyles that we don't have. I want those please.......and I am willing to pay crowns for them. Gimme, gimme!

It is so much better... That loading screen into craglorn I have seen it way too many times. its so much quicker to do writs now I don't have to wait through it.

I remember when I was leveling one of my characters my craft skill actually out stripped my quest progress and I had to get someone to port me in so I could hand in my writs. I know for some people that isn't a big deal but I like to explore this world in order still and don't like being ported ahead.

I wonder now which place has the best craft parking lot now?

Is there a place that writ giver and receiver are really close? And even better if there is house/stations nearby

There's a few. But vvardenfell (vivec) is one of the best spots.

I, too, was very excited about this change. I was getting tired of being forced to hang out in Belkarth all the time, with all the other awesome places in the game.

However, I am disappointed that there is no writ drop off site in The Clockwork City itself. I'd think the god of crafting would want in on the crafting writs...

No drop offs in Hew's Bane or Gold Coast. The smaller zones don't get it unfortunately.

Mournhold is good. All crafting locations excluding the provisioning one are located around the wayshrine and you only need to head out a gate to the drop off.

Stormhold in Shadowfen is my fave, all the benches are right next to each other in open tents and the bank is right next door. Vivec City is really good too.

Yeah but they still haven't fixed all the double click crap in crafting.
Why do you need to double click the crafting crate to hand writ in?
Why do they give you a crate of mats instead of just a pile of mats? Another needless double click?
When crafting why does the game default to the lowest level material? So that you have to click a bazillion times to get to the material you need.
It is all designed to be a massive waste of time.

Yeah, I do all my craft writs now in glenumbra since after I'm done I can drop them all off at the docks when finished.

The best part to me is that there are 10 different answers for where people want to go.

The sad part is that the Craglorn guild traders just lost their value and I think there were a couple heavy hitters there. I suspect they'll leave and bump a smaller guild from a decent spot. Not sure yet though.

It might be a good thing to shuffle the guild traders up a little bit. Everyone seems to have a different favorite place to do their writs, so maybe business will spread out more instead of being concentrated in Craglorn. I enjoy Elden Root because everything is right there in one spot.

Finally left Craglorn after 1.5 years and moved to Riften. It's quite nice since things are closer together.

The answer differs depending on how serious a crafter you are. I cycle through a ton of characters on different accounts and stock months worth of consumables on the writ runners. For me, Mournhold cannot be beat. The durable good stations are super close together and the turn in a stones throw away.

It's one of the better quality of life improvements that ZoS has made to the game.
