Tempered brass?

Just picked up a purple furniture recipe for an awesome looking clockwork cabinet. All I need is tempered brass. I'm assuming this is a new material, anyone know where it comes from?

I can't find it in the patch notes. I do see "polished brass" used for the Apostle motif and collected from:
"The Apostle Style, once known only to Sotha Sil's disciples, is now available for crafters! The Chapters for this style, and its Style Item, Polished Brass, can be obtained by completing certain Daily Quests in Clockwork City that aid the Brass Fortress and combat Clockwork foes."

Bumping this.

I had two Tempered Brass in my craft bag when I got my first Clockwork City furnishing recipe. I have no memory of getting them, but I don't pay close attention either to hireling emails nor to item breakdown results.

The principal Clockwork City daily I've done is the crow one -- Bursar of Tributes -- and that seems to only give Ebonshadow motifs and style material when it gives any at all.

Decon the junk gear you get in CWC and you will have more than enough. Not like any of the sets released are in anyway good.

Are you saying that the "Polished Brass" style ingredient for the Apostle motif and "Tempered Brass" have wound up being the same thing?

I assumed it was like those other mats you randomly get when harvesting nodes, but now I dunno, would love to hear for sure

The style material for Apostle style is 'Tempered Brass'. Looking at my CWC plans they require Tempered Brass. Not Polished.

I think the polished was the small fragment you get and Tempered is the completed one. Dont think i have ever seen a polished brass ingredient, and i have everything in game almost always. Just checked.

Like Shawn above stated, CWC plans use Tempered Brass, which i get loads of by deconing the junk CWC gear.

Thanks. There must have been a name change along the way.

I've also now tested this by deconning Mad Tinkerer and Livewire set gear, which are said to be in the Apostle style, and getting Tempered Brass.

Issue solved!
