It.s all swords and daggers these days. That sux.

What traits and glyphs would be the most viable and benefical for axes and maces, when you consider the damage effect of both. I think axes cause bleeding and maces lower phys resist? So what would be the benefits,of these and how do we make them work properly?

For maces nirnhoned seems to be best there have been some tests of what gives the best dmg. I'm also a huge fan of infused in main hand when using dw. I think this works for both axes and maces. On off hand i'd put precis.

I really would like DW axes (or maces) because of the bleeding - I'm guessing that its a DoT - if so would each tick have a chance to proc other things (enchants, gear sets etc)??

Bleed is a dot yes and it svales with dmg and can be extremly strong. Should be abele to proc the same things that rend or carve procs. It was the dueling meta in early morrowind on EU dunno if anything changed to nerf it.

Make sure to only use 1 axe tho. The bleeds from each axe is consider "the same" and can therefore override itself and cause you to get a "0-tick". So 1 axe + 1 sword/mace/dagger is the best way to go.

Ooooo that's interesting. So in that case, it would negate the need to level up the DW for the Twin blade and blunt passive? Off hand damage passive is still a given I guess. But using 2 different weaponsis very interesting - I can already imagine some interesting combinations.

On a slightly different note - when you 'hit' in DW, does it mean both weapons have hit the target or is it posiible for or both weapons to miss? Say ifit needs both weapns to land a hit - doesthe main hand hit before the off hand? I'm thinking of how it would affect weapon choice, weapon damage and proc possibility. (iftha makes sense, lol)
