*This is showing Dual Wield & Bow, it's just the pose is making the Dagger on the right hip clip into the body.
Proposed Quality of Life improvement to the Game. For Immersion purposes, have both a player's Equipped weapons on the Front and Back Bars be shown on the Character Model at the same time. This way it's much easier for the player by being given a visual cue as to what we're actually equipped with without having to check the Inventory screen unless for item details. (in case you've been gone a while and are wondering what's on that Character). Otherwise this is purely for aesthetics.
When it comes to what is placed where, Dual Wield and Sword & Shield weapons will always be placed on the Hip, with Bows, 2Handed, and Shields on the back. If equipped with two 2Handed weapons, they would be slung across the back at opposite angles, like an 'X'. If equipped with a 2Handed/Sword&Shield, the 2Handed weapon and Shield will be on the back, with the Shield covering the other and the one handed Melee on the hip. If 2Handed/Bow, the 2Handed will be slung as normal with the Bow covering it. If equipped with both bars Dual Wield, the Front Bar will be slung from the Hip while the Back Bar will take up the before mentioned 'X' sling on the back. When changing bars in combat, the weapons will trade places. If equipped with dual Sword&Shield, your Front Bar Melee will be slung on the Hip, with the Back Bar Melee across your back. Because otherwise it'd look odd, only your Front Bar Shield will be slung on your back over the Melee weapon, if you have two different styles of Shield.
Did I miss anything?
Edit: Forgot about Staves. Those are simple, Staves would just take the same pattern as 2Handed melee weapons.
