Stamplar medium build that plays like heavy

So with my 5m 2h stamplar build im running ravager and automaton without the automaton 5th bonus i have 4.1k wep damage fully buffed with 6.6k phys pen and 46% crit. My question is should i use spriggans instead and have 10k phys pen or play it safe and keep auto for more shield damage

Id keep auto and use maces for the pen if you feel you are lacking.
