Writ crates...

You know when you do your crafting writs in the morning and every writ every day you get a "crate of blah-de-blah-***-hum-level-9-and-three-quarters-cloth/metal/wood"? You open the crate and get 25 bits of low level crap. Why not just put the 25 bits of low level crap in the original crate without forcing us to waste our time opening a second crate?
10 million people get their time wasted like this many times every single day.

It takes like 0,2seconds to open a second create if you press E, then R to loot all..?

It's possible that it's set up in such a way that there are two RNGs at work. One is whether you get a survey or a box of mats, then there's an RNG for what level mats you get in the box?

It may be useless to you. But with 1T, once you gain levels you can no longer harvest low level mats. This is the only way to get some.

its not about the mats, its about opening the crates for it. I hate it too, especially because they dont stay on top of the inventory..

It may be useless to you. But with 1T, once you gain levels you can no longer harvest low level mats. This is the only way to get some.

I'm not saying the stuff is useless. I'm saying that delivering it in a container is useless, since it is always, always only 1 type of items in it.

It is a pain in the butt especially on console (you have to go to slotable to open)

No. Nobody asked for this stuff to be extra packaged in a container. Nobody whined for stuff being delivered "as is".

That part can be actually bypassed at least on PC. I have a writs addon that opens automatically the crates. But I do think it's an extra complication. Thanks for the tip, I'm already using this add-on. But I don't want an addon to bypass design nonsense. I want design fixed ;-)

Not true. 50% of the nodes will scale to your char level, 50% will scale to your crafting level. Also not like lowlevel mats r expensive or bop. Might require pretending to be social, but than u wouldnt need to craft low level stuff for yourself, except for a lowlevel toon, who can drop the stuff perfectly fine.

I wish <words that'd get me banned> to the ppl who cried for that change every time i get a stupid box of useless trash.

Oh yes, I've played the "follow the crate" game - three writs, three crates (of course) blacksmiith's in alphabetical order (at the bottom), the other two at the top. Open the blacksmiths crate, go to the top, open clothing... and now woodworking is back at the bottom...

All they need do is change the value of the crate to the value of the contents, then you can just sell it without opening it.

Makes sense, why would a crate of iron be worth less than just the iron?

You get shipments of refined each time you don't get a survey map. Sounds logical.

Raw Mats = Tempers on Refine.

Plus, the intermediate mats sell.

Also, there is a way to do the refining that increases the drop rate of Gold Tempers but it requires having different raw mats to switch between for refining.

Oh, don't worry, I know why you want raw mats instead of refined.
I'm just saying there's already a way to get raw mats (surveys). Refined mats are the consolation prize for loosing on the survey RNG.
It makes sense. If shipments were raw mats, we would be guaranteed raw mats every time, that would destroy the RNG aspect. Worse, people would prefer the shipments because collecting the survey mats takes time.

yeah. but I would still ike that better. since the surveys are a good source of highest level mats. especially when you need such a high amount when crafting cp160gear
