Writ crafting problem

Hello and good day everyone.

So I purchased this special writ quest, and when I opened it the terms of the writ was to forge a rubedite curiass, epic, divines in the syle of (Ebonheart pac) , so the only thing missing was the style to yeah, I went to the crown store and purchased the style motif pack for EP , opened, learned it, and used a mimic stone because I didn;t have any EP style stones (EP Dragon Scute) , So I forged the cuirass just as the terms stated, and used my tempers to upgrade it to Epic.

When I did, I never got notified that I completed it's terms.

Is there a bug or something or does anyone know if it's an Alliance related issue?

I'm in the Daggerfall Covenant Alliance.

However that said, people sell in guild stores all the time master writ's quests all the time. Would it really make a difference what Alliance you chosen that prevents you from crafting a simple known style from any alliance?

What can I do to fix it?

    I have crafted items in the alliance motifs for master writs before, so I don't think it should be an issue.

    Could you take a screenshot of your quest journal showing the master writ quest, as well a screenshot of the item while hovering over it to show the details?

    I see the problem.

    The problem is you made a plain cuirass, not a Kagrenac's Hope cuirass. You need to make the set piece version for it to work for your master writ.

    You can make plain armor, or set armor at special crafting stations. I don't recall in gamepad mode but trigger or the other top buttons might be how you switch from crafting "plain" armor to set station armor.

    You missed the part about the set. "Kagrenac's Hope", yours is just a normal non-set cuirass

    Yeah, it doesn't help that you cannot see the requirements while in the crafting interface. I use an add-on which auto crafts them now. On phone, but I think it is called lazy crafter or something.

    But that does not help console players.

    Want to rage at yourself even more? Make three nirnhoned weapons for research on a backup crafting alt, forget to lock them, and have another low level alt deconning everything that isn't locked..... Potent nirncrux.... not a happy camper.....

    Yes, I do have one crafter who already is at 9 traits, but I wanted a backup all 9 traits done crafter for just in case....not to mention the two crafters are the ones I play a lot. Its nice to be able to make research stuff for guildies without needing to log to another character quite so often.

    You will never make a Writ Crafting mistake again is it will make the item as long as you are at the correct crafting station.

    Although, this morning it did not automatically make the Ashen Grip item I needed for a Master Writ.

    Yes, thank you everyone I appreciate that advice and links. Going forward I certainly take my time and pay attention to the formula's requirements. Even though I have that handy craft bag, getting mats is hard enough. My primary character is just about full stat on almost everything, and can easily make stuff or supply stuff for my alts or even guildies. Aside from that, it just basically provides me some good fun time doing something that requires an higher expertise to do..
