Loading screens in Cyrodiil are now freezing my PS4, so I am forced to turn it off at the plug?!

Hi guys..

Recently I have noticed that the dreaded loading screens and freezing is back in Cyrodiil with full vengeance.. so much so that it is actually forcing me to close down my ps4 as it is freezing everything and i'm having to turn it off by the plug and restart everything...this is extremely unhealthy for my PS4 and i'm pretty worried about it.

Last night for example I was fighting as normal in Cyrodiil when my screen froze, went to the blue screen and told me "there is a problem we have had to shut the game" and it froze exactly there... I could not get out of it, left it for 10 minutes came back and was still stuck in the same place, my entire PS4 had froze.

This happened a couple nights before as well but instead of the "there was a problem" I was still in the game but the sound sped up of fighting and my screen had gone bright blue like the sky blue of the game, I could still see my bars and I could still use my attacks but I could not see anything except for the bright blue screen, I left it again and came back but it was still stuck, I tried to get to the PS4 menu but it had froze my PS4 again... is anyone else getting this?! its pretty scary that I might end up loosing all my data in a minute or my saved progress...or worse its going to kill my PS4 from turning it off at the plug all the time!

I get this occasionally and I just have to swing the in game camera around to get rid of it. Then things go back to normal.

“An error has occurred in the following application (CE-34878-0)"

That is a crash. I have had the game stop moving and not crash to CE-34878-0, if this happens you can just restart the system.

Booting via Safe Mode on the PS4

1. Power off the PS4 by holding down the power button for several seconds. ...
2. Power on the PS4 by holding the power button down and keeping it held down. ...
3. Once you hear the second beep, release the power button and the Safe Mode screens should appear.

Do not ever physically pull out the plug on the back while the console is up and running, this can cause data damage to the hard drive. Never ever do this.

The PS4 won't shut down otherwise its in a complete frozen state when this happens... I tried to use the buttons on the console in the first place but it would not restart after the second bleep. My PSVR was on but the PS4 was just showing a black screen nothing else...luckily it did not happen last night but im worried my ps4 is gonna fail in a minute..

i also got BSOD a lot (mostly-but not only- at Cyro) but ps4 never froze

Maybe its just my PS4 conking out...but it never does this on any other games..

maybe ps4 overheating during eso? got enough room at back?

Yep, its not standing either I always have it flat. It is one of the first gens and I got it on release day... I occasionally give it a dust and blow out as well.. as far as I know its not overheating but it does sound like it wants to take off and fly around the room now and again, but my PC sounds like that too haha.
