My Khajiit is going as either a pirate ghost or ghost pirate for Halloween. The distinction is important (as outlined in South Park). A pirate ghost is, of course, a pirate who died and then became a ghost, while a ghost pirate is any ghost who takes up the profession of pirating. Like they could have been an accountant in real life and the. Their ghost decided that was boring so they become a pirate.

Anyway, where’s the witches festival announcement? Kinda last minute to wait this long, right?

I imagine if they stick with the 2 weeks long model, combined with maintenance schedule. probably the 17th or the 19th it will begin.

Although I'm waiting impatiently along with the rest of you, I really appreciate that they're investing time and development energy into seasonal events like this.

At the beginning, we had nothing and as a WoW convert, it really pained me to have such a static world to get my console MMO fix in.

Nowadays, I really look forward to these events and sincerely hope they continue to expand, grow and become a 'must attend' event for all ESO gamers.

They give life to the game world and bring something new on a regular basis. I think they're highly under rated in truth!

I assumed it would be the 13th. With the DLC release on the 21st wouldn't making the festival start just 2-4 days earlier be muddying things up? Or maybe they want to layer on the incentives to play.

Witchmothers was my favorite event, I literally cannot wait for it to come back. I'm gonna cap out the few remaining characters on each of my accounts that aren't there and use it as an incentive to finally farm the last couple of dungeon sets I need

ESO live this Friday on twitch. Maybe they'll announce something. Especially considering that is Frostfall 13, which is supposed to be the beginning of the witches festival in tamriel

ZOS confirmed that it would not start this week, but that info will come to us next week. So, not Friday the 13th.
