hello everyone and a frontloaded thanks for clarifieing my questions :)

1. i heard from a friend i should slot a lightning staff on my sorc to fight vs permablocking mag dks or templars. so why? does it go through block?? didnt know that 4 real

2. im playing a tanky stamblade in heavy armour and 2h/bow spec. well im usually play her like a normal medium nightblade just enjoy the overall tankines of ha and the heal %+ When it comes to the race, she is current argonier because it gives further health, the potion passive is also nice for magica (cloak fear) and it gets also a healing buff. Now everyone says BIS race for stamblade is bosmer and i can see why: 21% stam reg paired with a small stam increase buff and a slightely dmg buff out from stealt looks really apealing

should i change to bosmer?

of all the staves - the lightening staff is my favorite...good aoe damage, easy auto aim....

instead of switching to bosmer - keep your lovely lizard and maybe switch to a mag blade...

Light and heavy attacks from staves do not go through block.

However if you are zerging, standing in the back using a lightning staff will eat their stam.

@Trashs1 I guess the point of a heavy lightning would be to drain your opponents stamina pool. It doesn't go through block but there's certainly a tactic behind it. Same tactic applies to any rapidly ticking damage ability, like Bloodthirst for example.

@Trashs1 Both are viable imo. The built in tripot from using a potion is nice, as well as the stronger heals being Argonian. Max Magicka is another bonus and being a stamblade you'll definitely need it with cloak.

Bosmer is a solid choice all round for a stamblade.

Given you like to play in heavy, Argonian is probably the choice I'd stay with, but, honestly, either option will work fine.
