I need help with a build idea! Taking PVP Resources Build

The last time i asked for help in here i got some awesome feedback on how to play my magplar! Inside the box ideas and creative stuff too!

I was wondering; what would be the perfect build for taking resources FAST, what would it look like.

It’s really easy to do with Stam DK. Any Stam toon really.

But keep in mind that guards are being changed next patch. Right now they’re very anti-Mag and easy for Stam to mow through. After the patch they’ll be more balanced (supposedly).

I’d hold off on a build for that until the new patch (clockwork city) settles.

If you want to take the resource and move on without fighting players, gonwith just about any dps PvE build, if you want to defend it against players then that is a different story.

I don't think it's that negative. It would highly mobile and use non reflective spells.

Even before Score tick, I can see this creating confusion in battle.

2h for cleave+ forward momentum
Bow backbar mobility.
Any monster set you want.

120 CP to unlock wind runner.
Steed mundas.
Find a way to stack minor/major expedition.

I wouldn't limit that to taking resources, it's a guerilla warfare, hit and run playstyle I could see being a log of fun to play.

Alliance war health potion, spell power buff, sweeps.

Any gear, any set up. It's fast and no need to stop to heal. Dark flare the mage then Jesus Beam it. Done. Takes about 10 seconds.

Wait a couple mins for flag to flip.

A petsorc with negate can waltz solo resource takes, even in non-CP. Personal experience there.

I think a stamden would probably be even better/faster as long as you had something slotted to range the mage guard on the tower. But no personal experience with that spec.

Edit: I'm not sure if you're just asking for a resource-taking build for your magplar. That's a lot less easy, at least in non-CP with all the eclipsing and negating the NPCs do.

swap cowards with prisoners.
5pc smugglers set for major expedition on any potion
bloodspawn 2pc
resto/destro (for ground aoe dmg on guards.)

Using the build for my Magplar in my Sig, taking a Resource is really easy and fast; run right up to the 4 NPC's on the flag and do the following:

1) Immovable Pot when you get close enough that they start ranging you...
2) Structured Entropy on any of the 4 NPC's...
3) Toppling Charge one of the Healers...
4) Devouring Swarm...
5) Puncturing Sweeps until all the NPC's are dead...
6) Use the remaining NPC Sorc in the tower and the 2 at the Tower entrance to rebuild Devouring Swarm as you kill them (The Swarm should easily be back up by the time the 7 NPC's are dead if you do it right)...
7) Profit...
