Morrowind Base Game and Code

Hello all

I made a post about this topic a while back and still do not have it straight. When someone buys the ESO Morrowind physical copy, does it come with two codes, one for morrowind and one for base game? Or do they come together in one code/disc? I'm asking because I want to buy a code that the seller states is the Morrowind expansion plus discovery pack code off of eBay and I just want to make sure I do not get the discovery pack only! I'm unsure whether you need to use a code to unlock Morrowind or if is on disc?

Don't get it off Ebay, just buy it from Zenimax themselves if you're on PC. Do you play ESO through Steam? Buy it there.

But about your question, Morrowind can be purchased in two variants.

• Morrowind + Base Game Bundle
• The Morrowind Upgrade

The Bundle is obviously more expensive cause you're buying everything. The entire game plus the Morrowind Chapter Expansion. If you already have the game, then you want the Morrowind Upgrade which is like half or a third the cost. Like I said don't try to buy it off a place like Ebay unless you're ABSOLUTELY SURE what you're doing.

You get one code with the physical edition. That activates both the base game as the morrowind expansion and includes the discovery pack.

Yeah, I'll second staying away from Ebay or other non-authorized retailers. There've been a bunch of stories on the boards over the years from players who picked up a copy someplace cheap, only to find that codes were missing, or didn't work.

The biggest offender was G2A, which was gutting boxes at launch, and then reselling the Explorer pack separately.

If something goes wrong, and you've gone through an official retailer, then you've got some recourse. If you go through someone on Ebay, your options are a lot more limited.

let me put it this way.
i bought ESO
i bought morrowind collectors edition full game

i own 1 game key. yes, its ***. i got ripped off. ZOS linked my 2nd game key as an upgrade to my first. i should have been able to give one of those base games away to a friend.

If you're on Xbox then buy the Digital Upgrade through the Store on your Console. Go to ESO's Store Page on your Console and find the Morrowind Digital Upgrade. Pay attention and find the one that says UPGRADE. You'll save money and buy just access to Morrowind cause that's all you need.

I guess the question is that is the code provided with the game give you the discovery pack and Morrowind expansion?
