Placing furniture

How do I place furniture in a house? I got the Rosy Inn room tonight and can't seem to place the fireplace I bought. If I hit F5 all I get is a friends menu. I don't see anything in the controls menu to place.

Cletus✭Well that will teach me. I had to click the F key lock and I got the housing editor and placing. Sorry folks Please delete.2
