I know all the classes can solo everything in pve for general questing but which one will allow to solo world boss or other difficult part of Gragalorn.

I just came back to the game couple weeks ago, just left before homestead update, I know magika sorc was the class to go for solo.

Can melee perform good at soloing compare to magika?

Thank you

    All of them. ;)
MagSorc is still easiest to play for that kind of content tho.
On staminachars u will most likely need vigor, bloodcraze/rally might not be enough on some classes.

Any of em. MagSorc and magBlade being the runaway easiest I would say. Stam you just have to kite a little or make a dps tank and just block the hits.

I guessed Craglorn. Close enough to be the localisation for some fancy european language.

bit unrelated but should the nb ability surprise attack do like 55k dmg from one hit? from crouching to a npc, yet do 18k at most from using the nb stealth ability

I'd say stamsorc is by far the easiest, pop hurricane (for resists) and surge (for heals and buff), then just stay in place, ignore any attacks and just DPS as if you were doing a dummy parse. At least that's what I typically do when killing solo world bosses :D.

Mag is actually harder (I don't mean "hard" it just usually takes a tiny bit more time on a typical world boss as I'm more squishy without shields and have to pay more attention, while with spamming shields on cooldown/depletion you loos waaaay to much DPS), because you will either have to move/block or use shield every now and then. My DPS is usually lower on magicka when soloing than on stamina.

Yes. dmg from crouching is increased by x3. nb stealth makes u invisible, but doesnt grant u that bonus.

I have recently returned to the game, found out ZOS had reset Craglorn.
I could not find people to do content, so I soloed everything on mag sorc in Craglorn except the 3 (?) group encounters where you have to defend a summoner / caster against increasing hordes of incoming NPCs and gargoyles. I could not do that, not because I die, but because the number of NPCs coming from all sides end up killing the summoner.

MagSorc with pet(s) will be by far the easiest.

The pet(s) will tank the boss and keep aggro off yourself, you can easily stack shields to 20k+ all while dealing out massive amounts of damage.

Thats actually a very good question. I accidentally figured that out more than a year ago and took it for granted. Works on all classes not only nbs.

I've found stamina classes good at soloing world bosses when using 2H brawler. Just lay down DoTs and spam that with heavy attacks and you get very good sustain and mitigation. Magicka classes have harness magicka or other shields that scale off magicka so you only have to lay down DoTs and weave heavy staff attacks with shield. It's really a generic strategy that's more build than class dependent.

I have found that Mag Sorc and Mag Templar are the easiest to solo world bosses. Mag Sorc can shield and the Templar can heal through most damage.

I personally prefer Stamsorc for solo, but I guess Magsorc and MagNB are the easiest. They are ranged, have strong shields/healing, high mobility and good sustain.
