I already got several Altmers (Mag Warden, Mag Sorc) and Bretons (Mag Sorc and Mag Blade)
Thinking of leveling a Mag Templar.
Are there any other races which are good choice for Mag Templar ?.
This toon will be a soloer mostly and occasionaly healer in both PVP/PVE
Really sad that there are no race choices apart from Breton and Altmer for Magicka classes

✭✭Argonians... for healing and resource management.

Tirps✭✭✭✭What about handbag argonian? More healing, little bit max magicka, more health and passive that literally turns every potion into tri-stat, also they have passive that makes them swim really fast.

BloodWolfe✭✭✭✭Nord or Argonian. My Templar is Nord but depends what role you want to play. Mine won't ever be a healer so I chose Nord because I love Vikings but they work well for a melee/stam/tanky Templar (for me anyway).
Argonians make good healers and another race I like. In the end I say choose the race you want to play, don't worry about min/maxing IMO. The game gets boring that way I think. My stam/melee DK is Argonian, stam Warden and Templar (I've gone mag and stam with him depending on mood) are both Nords, stam NB is Khajiit and mag Sorc is Dark Elf.0 -

Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.***Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis1 -

Anyway.
Argonian for healer or tank or both. Dunmer, Imperial or Breton for Magicka tank that can still do decent damage. Altmer for glassier, caster type build. They all work.PC EU0 -

What guild requires 35k solo WITHOUT WoE?, thats the top dps skill in any magicka build. Never seen it

Imperials never had a Magicka bonus. That said, if you're wanting a beefier Templar, even on a pure Magicka build, they're not a bad option.0 -

Sneaky-Snurr✭✭✭✭✭Altmer is usually the go-to race for Magplar regardless of roles but Breton, Dunmer and Argonian are all good substitutes and have good niche choices for different class roles.
