What things can't be set off balanced?

Is there any difference from skills used to set enemies off balance?

It is generally hard to set enemies off balance that are immune to the Lightning damage status effect "concussion". The most prominent Enemies that come to my mind are the "champion of Atrocity" in Maelstrom Arena the storm atronach and the stone atronach in Aetherian Archive (storm and stone atronachs in general are immune).

I'm not sure if blocking heavy attacks or interrupting certain boss mechanics can set all bosses offbalace or if there are any exceptions. So yeah if the enemy is a boss, immune to concussion and does no heavy attacks or interuptable mechanics he is most likely not to be set offbalance.


More than 90% of all enemies in this game can be set off Balance.

Other player's can always be set off balance even if they were immune to concussion

The two important bosses that cant be set off balance are the first 2 bosses in AA, there might be a boss in HOF, not sure. Not gonna include dungeons if there are any

An enemy has to be concussed in order to be set off balance from a lightning wall. shock enchant has the best chance and having a charged staff also greatly increases chances. lightning ability also have a chance to set concussion

Can the bosses in AA be set off balanced another way though with force shock morph or that dk skill?

no, they are immune, u can concuss them for 8perc more dmg from minor vulnerability but cant set them off balance.
