DW question: axe on main hand or off hand

Would axe on main hand be better to proc the bleed more or just better on the off hand?

also, has anyone tested whether 1 axe 1 dagger does more dps than 2 daggers?

I felt like I needed the extra crit so I go with dual daggers at the moment. Am not sure about DPS numbers or bleeding proc however.

2 daggers does more overall damage since the crit % affects all your skills

I'd do axe front hand IF you want for whatever reason more bleeds cause light attacks often do Main Hand rather than Off Hand

It does not matter whether the axe is in your Main or in your off-Hand make sure however that your off hand weapon trait is not infused or nirnhoned.

The "Twin Blade and Blunt"-Bleed usually does 2.3-3.4% of my overall Damage in single target... a dagger is not likely to beat that (stamDK)
Remember that the Dagger's crit Bonus is only active on the front bar and does not affect your damage ticks while you're on your back bar.

Nope. The Axe is always a 8% chance no matter which hand you've got it on. It will proc off both dagger light attacks and axe light attacks, so it doesn't matter which hand you've got it in :)

But yeah, double dagger is just better in general. Always was.
