Anyone having Latency Spikes and DC'ing NonStop???

I'm having trouble with logging in and entering different zones/dungeons. Keep getting Disconnected randomly. The Latency issue has been terrible for a year now and maybe the recent patch has me DCing for some reason... IDK. Just curious if anyone else has been having some trouble?

I've been getting lag spikes even when the latency (as indicated at the bottom of the screen,) is stable at 260ms.

    I thought that was normal?

    PC/NA.

Also get it on PC/EU, but I put that down to the distance from me to the server, being on the opposite side of the world, literally.

Yep - it was bad yesterday afternoon on PC/NA - I wasn't even doing dungeons/PVP. I was cracking safeboxes in Wayrest and the lag was horrible - I'd end up DC'ing then coming back dead or with a bounty, because apparently all the commands that weren't responding finally caught up.

Huh. I had issues but logged out of ESO and found my router was having issues. Just brushed it off as that, and I am sure that is part of it but entering keep doors have been a crap shoot. Light attack weaves in between abilities has been a crap shoot.

TBH; I'm hoping that my equipment has more to do with the issue than the game does. Then it might actually be fixed here in a couple days when I replace it.

Yep, on PC-NA. Ping time swings wildly, and when it does, the FPS bounces all over the place too. I keep mine locked at 60fps, but it drops when the lag spikes, and then when the ping time returns to normal, fps overshoots badly before settling back down to the 60fps lock. Makes the game very janky. I can just stand in one place and watch it happen.

Wasn't always this way -- the FPS was solid except for the usual issue around huge numbers of players in cites or dolmen zergs. My ping was solid averaging 100-120, with good areas of 80 and bad areas in the 120s. Ping time changes didn't radically affect fps. Ever since Horns of the Reach, ping is 118 or so at best, often dipping down below 130 before springing back up. And any large latency change makes the framerate wobble until the game finds its new stable point.

Luckily, I'm not getting disconnected. Although I'm on Windows 10, and I've heard a lot of comments that disconnects is the one thing that Win10 seems to be better at avoiding, possibly because it does a better job of dodging the memory leak problem. But I do generally get the "Application not responding" or whatever error when quitting, which is said to be a result of the memory leak. The opinion seems to be with Win7, the memory leak causes even more localized lagging until it builds up and the game is forced to disconnect. With Win10, the OS keeps ducking the memory leak and minimizing the extra lag, but when you go to quit the game, whatever mess was created in memory makes the game crash instead of quitting cleanly.

I'm hoping that the performance improvements that are supposed to come with the Clockwork City update will be real. HotR really seems to have bugged the game.

Yes. about 10 minutes ago. Lag spikes and a small roll back. Then again, do not know whether the problem was on my end or the server. PC/NA.
