Exploit, blessed, conduit...

Hey, I'm sure this will be a noob question from a novice player but lately I've been doing some Alik'r Desert dolmen's group which is a lot of fun but there's something I can't understand. Some random messages appears in battle from time to time, like "USE BLESSED XX" or "USE CONDUIT XX", can't remember the names exaclty... it looks like these stuff is giving me more power in some way (hands glowing, weapon glowing...) when I quickly press some key combination. Anyone knows what these are? Some abilities or pasives from other players maybe that I can use in some way?

Some skills offer synergies that other players can activate for a certain effect. It's a way to reward teamwork.

If you mean like luminous Shards thats templers skill they throw a spear and it drops down dealing damage and While active, an ally can activate the Holy Shards synergy, restoring 3960 Magicka or Stamina, whichever maximum is higher. They also restore an additional 1980 Magicka or Stamina, whichever maximum is lower.


Conduit is a synergy skill when a Sorcerer casts Lightning Splash once when its down you can use synergy on it and It deals powerful area-of-effect shock damage to all enemies in the vicinity of the player using the synergy.

Aha ok then these skills are coming from other players. Excellent! That's was my doubt mostly. Thank you guys.

it's great you notice them! many pug players ignore synergy.

spear shard from templar let you restore magicka or stamina.
if you see slow floating balls of light coming from the healer, that's the healing combustion synergy that let you restore mag/stam too.
templar's healing ritual let you synergy for extra heal and debuff removal.
bone shield from an ally let you synergy for a damage shield equal to 60% of your health.
if you see a sorcerer summons a storm atronach, you can use synergy to get a 25% damage buff for 8 seconds.

synergy has abt 10second cooldown, once you used a synergy, you need to wait for a while before you can use another one.

the "exploit" hint is another matter.

if a mob is doing a channeled attack (shown by red sparks on mob), you get a hint text to bash attack, to interrupt the mob

if a mob a charging up a heavy attack on you (shown by white sparks), you get a hint text to hold block, if you do, you won't be knocked down, and the mob will be set "off-balance" (a debuff status in which they receive extra damage)

while the mob is "off balance", you get a hint text to heavy attack to exploit this status, the heavy attack will result in knocking down the target.

Yep those are other players skills they've used that have a synergy attached to them. These synergies vary from damage, heals, buffs and even give back magicka or stamina. Too many players ignore synergies in this game so make it good practice to learn to use them early
