How much time do you spend in the Imperial City?

I'm both a PVPer and a PVEr and I spend very little time there

I did all the quests a little while ago on one character and really enjoyed it. Great questline with some challenging bosses. I hope to come back and complete it again so on a different character with my friends.

Every so often I get the bug to go farm Tel Var and key fragments, so I'll pop out to IC on a emptier server and farm to my heart's content every couple months.

Finally, I need 1 more fish on my fishing character. Knowing my luck, I'll be coming back to the Imperial City for a long time trying to catch that little Wen Loach.

I've been there for events (and to do the questline) and that's about it.

I went there once. I have some Tel Var stones. I don't recall how many, but they are neatly stacked in my bank. I can't remember when I got them. It has been a while. When did it come out? 2 years ago? Probably got them 2 years ago.

I really love IC - I just wish there were more incentive to go there.

To start they need to add more valuable items to the loot tables for chests/portals and increase scamp spawns. Also add more to Bal's loot table AND put the skin/scamp in a rune box so they can be traded.

PvE and PvP are like oil and water. The prospect of being attacked by another player is precisely why I don't ever go there willingly and why I will probably never finish the quest line (something which really pisses me off).

I won't talk about how too many people hang out in their houses or make any comments about dressing up their barbies in hello kitty costumes, because that would definitely get me in trouble. I will say that IF too many people were doing that, this game would become 80% RP fest and it wouldn't be a very good pvp game

i play on a 30 day map...i get all 10 characters to tier 3 each campaign...

I've never really been able to earn a lot of AP in IC ever since they started with the flags - so, once I've achieved my goal I'll normally head in to IC for fun...

currently, I prefer it over battlegrounds...

checked it out during the last 'event' for about 10-15 minutes, saw a blue fungus metastasizing the the middle, so i left.

prior to that, i'm not even sure the last time i was there, it's been months.

I've only seen the prison. The Warden there is a pain in the $#% to kill.

I don't really know how to describe myself. I occasionally pvp, and occasionally pve. I don't spend too much time down there the past year or so. Once a week a guild I am in goes, I try to make that when I can. Sometimes it's an hour or two, sometimes it's quite a bit longer. IC probably has taken more of my time than any other DLC, as the other ones I just finish with each character then very rarely set foot in again.

I am happy to say this past Sunday I was down there and finally got my Soul Shriven skin. Such a great feeling to finally get that after getting 10+ pet scamps the past few months.

Despite the fact that I absolutely love IC, I rarely go there anymore, and when I do, it is usually in the districts. I really like the sewers and there is actually quite a lot of pve'ish stuff for folks to do there, unfortunately that pve'ish stuff is enveloped within a pvp wrapper.

I wish ZOS would make the sewers a pve zone ... it is such a cool place to go, but the immersion is ruined by gankers. Even if the option for pve included no telvar drops, I would gladely take such an option. I would love to be able to go there, get totally immersed, and just have fun with all there is to do there ... without being interrupted by gankers (sigh).

I was there once alone and another time in small guild group. But it's not my best part of the game. PvP is too fast, people hot-headed and I'm too old for this, reflex not the same as with the youth.
Also I agree that losing Tel Vars sucks...

The original release of the game attracted many TES players who had never played an MMO or PVP before and were only playing ESO because of the TES connection and would have preferred TES 6.

Some of those players have converted to PVP but many are still questing and RPG'ing etc. and despise PVP. Without those players ESO would have died at birth and I suspect would struggle to survive today.

Yes, ESO is an MMO but to many it is a surrogate TES 6 to be played "any way you want" until TES 6 hits the shelves. Those people keep the game going and are perfectly entitled to their opinions about PVP.

IC is great but is seems a little bit outdated ..we need more things added there. ..something to bring us back there ..every day...maybe some new dailys with improved rewards like transmutation crystals..for example?
