The Fleshy Symbiont drop for Achievement got fixed? If anyone knows about

I've read the drop was bugged after they changed the Flesh Atronach model and ZOS even commented they were going to fix it but the only info around are quite old. It got fixed in the end?

If anyone cam confirm this item for the Achievement is dropping.

Thanks for any insight.


UPDATE: CONFIRMED THE ITEM IS DROPPING - I WOULD BE INTERESTED IF ANYONE GOT A DROP RECENTLY FROM THE ATRONACHS IN Abamath (Malabal Tor). SHOULD BE THE BEST FARMING PLACE SINCE THE NUMBER OF ATROS AROUND.

I got it just before One Tamriel grinding the flesh atros in the Coldharbour public dungeon and people were saying it was bugged back then. I kept it in my inventory for a loooooong time to prove to people it dropped but I vendored it a few months ago because I got sick of looking at it in my bag. It's basically like having a severed tongue in your pocket, gross!

Like all of those monster trophies the drop rate is abysmal but at least it's way easier to grind flesh atros post One Tamriel than before.

Ok, this is quite surprising, I can confirm myself the item is dropping but I have no idea where! I've just checked my other characters and my second one found the damn thing, I didn't noticed at all since I was looking for these items at my main only.

This is recent, I wasn't even playing the game before One Tamriel.

Now, this character only do pledges, mostly at least, he's not roaming around, so that probably got dropped by Grothdarr or the Flesh Atros in Spindle 2, I cannot think of other places outside pledge dungeons!

At any rate, being unsure if it's dropping on Atros mobs as it should be, I will complete the Atros Element Collector to get the dye with this character, it sucks a bit since I would have liked to collect all the items with my main, but ok.

Please, if anyone still have info on this, they are totally welcome.

Yeah they fixed this awhile back it just a pain in the ass to get it to drop

I found one not so long ago.. certainly not much more than a month or so ago. Can't remember where i dropped it though, it could have been Spindleclutch but I'm not 100% certain..

I had one drop in Alik'r at the Tigonus Dolmen.

I tried to get it for hours and hours with no luck after they said the spawn was fixed. Finally, I got one about a month ago off of a Flesh Atronach in the City of the Lost, Coldharbour.

@RANKK7 spindle 2 definitely drops them.

And no word about Abamath (Malabal Tor) where there is a good number of Atros around, the best place to farm, I would go there with my main to get it, hope it's dropping there too.
Everyone who is reporting recent drops seems to have found the item everywhere but there.
We have so far pledge dungeons, City of the Lost and Dolmen, all places insane to farm for this item since the very limited number of Atros.

Hope the ones in Abamath have the item assigned to the loot package and didn't got flagged as a different kind of creature (like a summoned one associated to a specific quest involving necromancy, just an example) hence presenting a different kind of loot where the item by mistake hasn't be added after the fix.
It's a possibility and since farming these items really requires a huge amount of time I hope to hear also someone who recently found the item there, if any.

I can confirm it drops in Abamath, got one a couple weeks ago farming atronachs for Monster Hunter achievement

Absolutely drops in Spindle 2. Got one in there earlier tod...yesterday now, I suppose.
