Que pop

Hello. I think it was in horns of the reach update but lately I notice that any questions will pop up while you are in bank, menu, skill screens. .while I appreciate the notification it is extremely easy to accidently press decline que.

To be honest this change seems like the accidental decline is intentional. I can't see anyone testing this and not realizing how quickly it will go wrong.

What do you think? Does zos want less people quing up for dungeons or cyrodil now??

You wait all this time only to accidently miss it or decline it. It's as if you are supposed to set your que and then sit their and wait. If you try to participate in any aspect of the game while you wait(kill time) you are punished

It actually bothers me so much that it's not uncommon for me to just log off for the night.

I was waiting from position 75 to get into vivec campaign and running trough countryside and ran into a dude fighting a zone boss. Well apparently the que popped during the fight and I had no idea and missed it.

So what is it zos? Blast my menu with notifications or don't bother to tell me a question is ready?

Again it seems as if they prefer some members to decline or Miss ques. Why else would it be this difficult to get ib. Without error.

On PS4, just press options button instead of circle for back out menu, it's quicker and doesn't decline anything.

I'm on PC, so I can only assume its somehow easier for me to accept queues? If this is a problem particularly to a particular game platform, please clarify.

When your queue for Cyrodiil pops, you get either the central screen pop-up or the notifications pop-up, or both. Beyond that, its your responsibility to pay attention to something that you queued for.

If you are accidentally declining the queue, you can slow down and pay attention to what you are clicking. If you are choosing to do something else while waiting for your queue to pop, you can pay attention to when your notifications pop up.

I realize that this probably wasn't what you wanted to hear, but I'm not sure how ZOS is supposed to solve the problem of people clicking on options without paying attention (that's more or less how to decline queue accidentally on PC) or the problem of people being too focused on combat or whatever to realize that they have a notification for their queue. I've missed my queue before and while it was really annoying, I also realize that it was my user error.

You guys are just missing it. I'm pressing back to back out of a skill menu the que pops up as I press it and boom it's declined. It doesn't ask if I'm sure or anything.
It's so quick yes if I pops I can catch it and press the right button but when I'm going through my skills or menus and it pops it's impossible.

Um you're not sure how zos could get around that? I'm sorry man how long have you been here? I only ask like that because it never used to operate this way so they implemented this change.
To answer your question they could just revert the change to have it pop up in your menus.
It was fine when I heard the notification beep and I'd go find it and accept. Now if you're busy (in combat) they don't tell you at all or they shove it in your face and it can accidently be declined.

Again it seems as if it was designed to fail.

Press option button on your PS4 controller, it backs out all menus.
If you haven't tried it you should.
