Connection Issues / Timeouts

My husband, father and I have been having a ton of connection issues (unable to log into the server 3/5 times) and never-ending loading screens since the last patch update; even in different houses and on different networks. Are other people experiencing this? It's really bad.

Are these different networks in the same home?

    1) Playing on the same network can and does cause load issues meaning lost network packets and thus lag and loss of connection.

    2) Having multiple wireless networks in a home on the same band, 2.4ghz especially, will cause them to interfere with each other causing lost packets and lag and loss of connection.

    3) Is your wireless router older maybe made by Belkin? Even if wired through the router, older routers do tend to need a reboot to function properly after running 24/7 for a long time. Belkin routers have had some issues I've noticed before, including an automatic mandatory firmware update sometime in the last year that cut off internet for everyone with a Belkin router until they rebooted them.

No, we are in different homes and offices. We are all IT employees, and so we ensure that our networks are configured for the best possible performance.

We do not have an old router; however, we did restart the routers thinking that this might be the issue. It did not resolve the problem.

All good suggestions, though, so thanks for the input.

We are definitely seeing an issue connecting specifically to the ESO login servers, however, and it is not (cannot) be equipment related due to our separate locations. Once we are in the game, the connection is perfectly fine. Login and zoning, however, are huge issues.
