While in PVE, another player randomly started flinging what appeared to be feecal matter at other players, including myself.
What is this? Is this some sort of new emote? FYI: the player appeared to be a Warden.

Nonsense. The only time ZOS came down on anyone over these mudballs was when players using the dye stations were being targeted. It was decided that that was intentional griefing and that it would get you into trouble for it. You'll start to see comments like "no one should be able to throw something at me" or "this is lore breaking" or "this has destroyed my immersion and RP".
Its a good sign that the MMO has made the turn from strats needed for dungeon crawls and PVP to casual f2p. Most modern MMO's do this since around 2010. These are the individuals who will pay 30 dollars for an elk mount and then scream all over the forums that sorcs are OP.
Likely they have NEVER died on a quest in this game, because the devs has dumbed the game down so much that yes sorcs are OP now. VR6 when 3k health was a lot? Not so much.
Some people think this signals the decline, others, like myself simply wait for the next good mmo to come along and garner from it the good 2-3 years of game play before this occurs.3 -

Seriously? Are they gonna repeat the festivals? Witches, New Life and Jester? With the same achievements as last year? That'd be a chance for my chars to complete missed achievements.

✭I remember like 3-5 months ago, I was in Stormhaven by Wayrest and my guildmate and I were grinding, and we are both AD, he saw a RED (EP player) that was Grinding as well and my buddy hawls off and hits the guy with a Mudball, the festival had been over and he was a newer player. The player runs up to me and sends me a message "did you just hit me with a poo ball??" me and my guildmate just rolled and laughed using emotes to show we were laughing and then I wrote him back "no its called a mudball from the recent festival. you can go buy one yourself"
the EP player calmed down after a bit and then moved on, but let me tell you at first he was extremely pissed, he wanted to duel and everything..
