Dual daggers vs swords

So i did some simply maths on dual wield weapon choices and the results are really confusing as daggers are said to be the optimal choice in raid environment due to warhorns.
This will be for classes without build in crit multipliers: sorcs, DKs, Wardens

My question is that did I miss out some crucial factor:? correct me please!

With 2 daggers, these classes usually have 67-72% crit, i will simplify it to 70%

1.75 is the crit multiplier if you have trap and horn up 100% of the time

Daggers:
0.7 x 1.75 + 0.3 = 1.525

Swords:
(0.6 x 1.75 + 0.4) x 1.05 = 1.5225

So we see that daggers are only 1.8% better than swords, and if warhorn have a uptime lower than 95%, swords are better if horn have a uptime lower than 85%, which is probably always the case unless you are with hodor

So what is wrong in this?

    Wonky wording... brain afk,

Swords aren't really buffing damage by 5%. More like 3.8% when you factor in champion points to the damage calculation.

Total damage output modifiers like swords or minor/major slayer have a somewhat weird scaling and their impact on the actual DPS is often far lower then what you think. It actually get's less impactful the more buffs you have.

Are you really talking about warhon uptime? 55% would be ridiculously low. Or do you mean major force uptime?

Ive heard that minor slayer buff is hugely overrated, so damage done buff works the same way, before CPs are taken into calculation?

Yeah, Minor Slayer isn't really 5%, it's the same amount as the sword buff, 3.8%.

War machine works the same way, not really a 15% buff, closer to 12%.

    Long Shots is just 9%.
    Hawk Eye is 19%.

*Edit* It gets worse as you add more multipliers. If an archer with max CP decides to use war machine, they're only getting a 9% buff from the 5 piece instead of 15%.
