Glitch? Cheating ? Or Exploit ?

So something weird happen the other night.

I was in PVP on the out wall of BRK in front of me was one blue night blade so i decided why not have some fun , i jumped down in front of him and i was blocking and jumping up and down just to see what he will do. ( why ? its fun earlier i was on the bridge and it was one yellow there, so i stop in front of him and blocked and so did he so we were right next to each other and showing off each others mounts and comparing them while my alliance with zerg army of more then 20 was just riding right by us leaving the yellow guy alone it was so funny and after a while he left )

So anyway me and night blade are just staring at each then out of nowhere one of my alliance guys walk out of the door sees the blue and goes right back inside and at the same time the blue attacked him and went inside of BRK ? i was like wtf so i went inside tried to find him i thought he probably got killed went inside the castle to teleport and there he was! ? all the way in the back sniping the NPC so i went after him time and time again and i could just not kill him regardless of that ive done to him even with NPC attacking him as well, eventually i chased him all the way to the top and he dropped down and 5 of my alliance guys were trying to kill him including my self for like 5 min he would just not go down , eventually we managed to kill him.

My question is how was he able to go inside our castle ? double time ? he went trough the first wall and then he went all the way inside of the castle without sieging or braking the wall.?

Yes, there is a nightblade ability (teleport strike?) that allows them to attack someone else going through the door, this avoiding normal game mechanics to enter keeps. DKs could (still can maybe?) get on top of walls with Chains.

Yes, it happens. Still there is an official policy about doing that:

Entering a keep without breaking down the walls is an exploit. Devs have already stated it numerous times. The not dying could be skill, exploit, or straight cheating.

It should be impossible to get inside like that. If it's happening, it's an exploit in the sense of purposefully taking advantage of a bug.

Im not talking about him killing me or taking 5 people to take him out yhea he was really really damm good there is no denying it im talking about how was he able to get inside our castle? .

@skoomatrait so this is the night blades ability and it can be used to breach the wall if there is enemy going inside the castle ?

It happens from time to time with the NB gap closer. It can happen by accident too. If you ambush someone right as they go through a door you get carried in. It’s a bug, an exploit if you mean to do it, and unlikely to ever be addressed by zos.

yhea ive never seen anything like that before and to do it twice ? and then be able to go all the way in the back where the flag is and up the stairs and just snipe people


@ManwithBeard9 the no dying parts he was really damm good killed me and few others in like 4 sec flat his life was 22k and we drooped everything on him lol 5 of us for like 5 min im not sure if there is cheating on xbox one maybe im wrong .

Nightblades have been able to ambush into keeps on people going in a door for well over a year.

It gets worse when someone logs into an enemy alliance for the sole purpose of allowing their friends to ambush in on them.

Player have been reported. Video evidence has been shared. But those players are still there today. So take that for what it's worth.

yhea that dose explain what ive seen but to do it twice ... .. ? odds of that happening hmmm

its an animation glitch more than an exploit, yes it does need fixing, yes it is broken, yes it can be abused, yes it can happen accidently.. pve equivalant is using blade of woe and getting stuck in a wardrobe.. *** happens!

This is kind of bs though. Ive had this happen to me on accident. Im in the keep and get zerged down. I shouldnt get reported for their *** bugs

@GodAizen i agree with you if its done by mistake it should not affect you however there are players like in my case that keep on doing it again and again.

The issue is that with latency and the gap closer issues, you also can't always tell if they did it on purpose. Sometimes the accidental wall teleport happens because you are gap closing and they enter a door at the right time. It's not like crit rushing up into keeps like the old days, this one is a little bit more difficult to consistently do imo.
