Style parlor crown store question

I just wanted to ask because it is not clear to me if i buy one of those emotes or personalities i understand how that work it will be implemented right away to all characters but im not sure about adornments or hair styles i mean if i buy that it is practicaly useless right? I mean you cant change your hair or adornments at whim on existing character it works only for newly made characters right? Or i am wrong maybe?

If purchased in the Crown Store, all of the hair styles and adornments will be in your collections tab, available for use on any of your characters. Able to be changed at whim!

Further on this, can you alter colouring on them (as you can do on hats)?

No, unfortunately you cannot change your hair color without an appearance change token.

And the adornments are not able to be dyed.
