Sick of how rare the new blueprints are.....

***PS4 player here***

It's how many months later and my friend and I can't decorate our Amaya Lake Lodges in Vvardenfell because either:

a) we can't make the stuff we need
- or -
b) nobody is selling the stuff we need because the blueprint has still not been found MONTHS LATER AFTER THE RELEASE!!!!!!!!!

This is absolutely ridiculous. As an example, I know zero people who can make the Hlaalu canopy bed nor have I ever seen one or heard of one (nor its blueprint) in a guild store. It would be one thing if it was super rare and people wanted something stupid like 1 million gold for the blueprint, but even THAT isn't an option on a lot of stuff. Something needs to change. Not being able to put basic stuff like a cool bed in our house months after release is complete crap.

Well, it seems that blueprint at least does exist (I know you're on console so this doesn't help you, I'm just saying it seems to actually exist in game, which is not the case for some blueprints)

And yeah...it's bad. I have about a dozen new purples I think but I feel I've had enough farming. I guess it's less of an issue for PC because between all the active urn farmers we've probably found most blueprints by now between all of us, so while no one has all of them it's generally possible to buy what you want. I can't imagine doing that without TTC site/addon though, some of these things you can still only find at like literally one trader or something. Sorry

There have been a lot of threads on this - I think we've agreed the new purple furniture blueprints droprate is something like 1/22k, for urns at least which is where most people farm And no that's not a typo lol - but I guess it's not a big/loud enough issue for ZOS to care....plus who'd buy those 500 crowns furnitures in the crown store if one could easily acquire them ingame?

Rare is the new standard. BA with that 0.7% drop rate says hello.

I feel your pain OP, even though I'm on PC.... they need to make it so only Vardenfell furniture recipes drop in Vardenfell and none of the base game recipes do. That would make it so much nicer. I'm not willing to pay stupid amounts of gold just to have a furniture recipe.

Uhhh. I may have spent WAY too much time farming those urns Trust me I didn't get that many(lol) because rng gods love me.

Funny thing is - I haven't farmed chests nearly as much as urns, but I have 9/14 pages, plus 1-2 extras of BA. However, haven't found a single page since HoTR, and apparently no one else has either. Pages went from 150k each to 300-500k each.

And to *THOSE who think if no one is finding anything then you'll just buy it in a few months when prics drop. Newsflash... if no one is still finding them in several months prices will go UP, and people will stop farming for them. See BA motif example above.

You can find some of the furniture for sale on pc on guild traders. I have personally looted so many urns I lost track 10000000000 lock picks ago how many. Guess what?! I still haven't gotten a new purple furnishing recipe from them. Actually the 1 and only one I have I stole from a nightstand.

I agree, too. The blueprint drop rate is ridiculous and disheartening for folks who love to decorate our homes.

Being a housing pattern completionist is/would be a special kind of hell. The achievements for learning X amount of recipes for each craft are bad enough, especially enchanting and alchemy.

Whoever sets the droprates on these things needs to be not just fired but blacklisted from the gaming industry, as does anyone involved in approving or implementing it. It's inherently bad--lazy hackwork at best and outright cruelty at worst--and no one capable of setting such a rate should ever, under any circumstances, have the authority to do so.

Hi, housing pattern (and recipes in general) completionist here. I actually enjoy doing more in the game than farming containers but with the price of recipes now, plus the upped cost of Furnishing documents... pretty much not going to happen.

I ony make 500k on a good week from my trading guilds, that's ONE Vvardenfell purple. And sales will be tanked until Clockwork City releases.

i love this kind of stuff and thought about this because of the aethiric cipher!

i play the game a lot and kill tons of mobs! way too much time do i play on this game to admit HERE! YET...i haven't even seen the dust.

my thought were exactly in the direction of = will i ever get it to drop for me AND as the game loses more and more people will the dust and ciphers just cease being able to be obtainable because of the crazy low drop rates?

They just want us to buy it directly from the crown store, disregarding the fact that we already paid $40 for the chapter. There is no other reason to have such pitiful droprates.

I think the reality is they did not want to add these AT ALL but rather make the furniture crown store only. However they then imagined the uproar it'd cause and added them...just so they can now safely say "don't worry, we're staying true to our word, most of the crown store furniture is also available in game! Oh you didn't find any in 40k urns? Well that's just rng for you! Let us know if you get tired of farming, we have that canopy bed for only 500 crowns!"

This is *** policy but it's exactly in line with everything else they've been doing.

Mine's average of 1/22k urns. Which is 0.045% Someone else posted in one of the threads on the matter with similar result, so I'd assume that to not be too far off. You can probably give or take 5k there but that gives you the idea, doesn't it?

I've been talking to other farmers. They are THAT bad for real. Even if you dedicate all your playtime to farming urns(lol) and you have hours of it every day you can still go like a week without one.

I got 2 of the new purple blueprints from random urns. I refuse to farm, but I'm used to just looting everything while I quest and sort out my inventory when it gets too full. Both blueprints sold within minutes of being posted on the trader, it seems I asked for really low prices XD

I'm also on ps4 NA and have some of those recipes learned, will check which ones when I log on. If I can make the bed you're looking for will send it to you for mat cost, I'm not hurting for gold so no cost if I can make them. I've been buying up all the Vvardenfell recipes I find, is your psn name same as here?

On the plus side, the guild stores are jam-packed with overpriced Daedric blueprints. Not much else though.

Yeah. If you can make the bed then you should be selling them in stores lol but it's not likely you do have it.
