Does the crossbow skill (Fighter's Guild) go up in damage?

I am now at Champion rank and I invest all my mage points on The Atronach's Physical Weapon Expert passive. Will putting points over there add damage to my crossbow? Or do I need to invest on Master-at-Arms in order to add damage to it?

Thanks.

It should go up in damage from anything which boost weapon damage, physical damage and direct damage.

You will also see the damage increase with max stamina (all skills that cost stamina scale with your max stamina value)

I would love for this skill to be reworked. yes as @Turelus said it should be increased by all weapon damage, physical, and cp that boosts direct damage.
I don't think the actual damage increases with max stam unless it is an ultimate ability, I'm pretty sure this topic was covered regarding a different stam based skill and the verdict from the number crunchers was that max stam doesn't directly increase damage of the skill but max stam would allow for the skill to be used more often so therefore it would add to damage because of more casts.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

also because of the fighters guild passives youll get 3% more damage from slotting it and youll also get an additional 20% against undead vamps daedra werewolves and the like (effects players too)

you're wrong. For most skills stamina adds to the damage coefficient just like weapon damage does(or their magical counterparts), usually stamina contributes at a 10.5:1 ratio compared to weapon damage. In other words 105 stamina will increase your damage just as much as 1 weapon damage will.

The exception to this is with light and heavy attacks, which scale off spell/weapon damage at a much higher rate, but still retain some damage scaling from max stats.
