first two values send steam into 2nd housing unit, but values 3, 4 and 5 do nothing but show a poof of dust-no matter the order.

book on ground is crap, see steam coming from pipes, turn the value nearest steam, then turn the next value beside it and watch steam move along pipes to the other housing unit. the next 3 value just go poof in a cloud of dust, many sequences were tried, i even went into a fit of rage and at 60 years of age, that's not a good thing. IT BROKEN, Yes.

It isn't broken. You sometimes have to press the same valve multiple times till the steam goes in the right direction.

Is this the part where you turn a valve until you see steam along the next section of pipe? Just turn until you see the steam. It's super easy.

once you learn you can turn the valve more than once at a time, yes.

It is broken, first time I was there the 5th valve could not send the steam in the right direction.
I went out of the dungeon and next time there they all worked.

Quest broke for any one else?, I get to the part that says Follow the Imperfect, goes hallway down the hall and gets stuck, like he fighting something that is not there... any ideas? I just abandon the quest and stared over..seems to work now.

I had the same problem with the stuck Imperfect. I tried to kill myself on the barrier but glitched through and was able to complete the quest.

This. The trick is to turn the valves as many times as it takes to get the steam to travel to the next valve in the line.

You're probably getting stuck on the (third valve) - make sure the steam continues down the pipe to where the next valve is (you don't want it shooting out the side where the pipe is broken).

Its basically the same as crystal puzzle in Lightless Oubliette, just with different visuals.

If you do the valves out of order it glitches. You need to press the reset button and do them in the proper order.

It’s rather obvious of you have done similar quests in the game (forging the core with Merric in the fighters guild quest line for example) already. Not so much if you have not.

the quest is still broken but its the first time for me after finished CWC story 5 times



fyi you can bypass it by going to electric fence,die and respawn to the other side,where you can continue

You can also go up the stairs and jump down and fight him

I got stuck right after the first breach. I killed the two enemies before the imperfect arrived there and now he's fighting nothing repeatedly and don't proceed to open the second wall. Any tips? Relogging didn't work, as well as to leave the area or just wait a couple of minutes.
